Alien Escapade º Episode 0504 - The Knocking: Gera, Kern, Sheriff, Yerba, Vanna, ~ 05 {Vanna’s Trullo + Gera ~ 2} ``Vanna; I am not hungry after that lovely meal last night, which is why I put you off for lunch. ``Gera: I am not surprised from what you had. ``Vanna: You could not have put a price on the vintage wine we had, it was just marvellous. ``Gera: I am impressed, because it often goes into acetic acid and ends up being used for vinegar. ``Vanna: Hang on, I think I heard the door. [Knock, knock] Yerba? Quiff. ``Yerba: I need a drink. Zeno, Gera. ``Gera: Zeno, Yerba. ``Yerba: Zarfs. Will you get the Sheriff over? ``Vanna: Certus, I will do it now. --- He is being paged. ``Gera: Nice to see you again. ``Yerba: Zarfs. There are lots of worms coming out to feed. So how is the Oligarchy these days? ``Gera: We are pleased with the progress and have managed to resolve many of the issues. ``Yerba: That is good, because Utica was the major problem. ``Gera: So I hear, although we were not sure who was involved. ``Yerba: I am pleased that Qualla, took over from me and she does deserve the post. ``Gera: Qualla has been working hard sorting out legal problems. [Knock, knock] ``Sheriff: Can I come in? As you have left the door open. What a meeting? ``Vanna: I have done your usual, and let me top yours up. ``Yerba: Purely by chance, I was in the Freshen Bar at the station. I overheard two Bears whispering that one of their customers was not coughing up the dosh, because they had been taken over by another gang, as they were now in clink, and what were they going to do about it. ``Sheriff: Most useful information. ``Yerba: Here is a full description of their characteristics. You should be able to spot them, because they were not local, and had probably come in from Hobbs City on the Monorail. ``Sheriff: Zarfs for this, I will get back to my Outpost, and get it circulated, and I will put extra Officers on duty at the station. ``Gera: Well done, Yerba. ``Vanna: Zaa, well done. ``Sheriff: Zarfs for the drink, zimo. ``Gera: Things are looking up, but I did warn you of the consequences. ``Vanna: We have a saying on Earth “there is no smoke without fire”. ``Gera: We have some more problems with contracts, so can we have a meeting over here quin? ``Vanna: Certus, and when for? ``Gera: 14th time tomorrow? ``Vanna: That quick, okay, I will see if everyone can make it. I will send a mail out now. [Knock, knock] Not again! ``Kern: Zeno Vanna, I am Kern, Qualla’s brother. ``Vanna: Quiff. I presume you know Gera? ``Kern: We have briefly met before. Zeno, Gera. ``Gera: Zeno, Kern. ``Kern: Can you get the Sheriff over? ``Vanna: Twice in one day? How marvellous, and I will enjoy this. --- That should please him. We have some croak beans left! ``Kern: Zaa, quin. You mean he has already been here? ``Vanna: Zaa, Yerba has been here. ``Kern: That explain things, as Qualla would not let on, although he hinted that he knew his whereabouts. ``Gera: That is good news. ``Vanna: Even for Gera’s benefit, it is on a need to know basis only. ``Gera: I have to admit that I took umbrage at first, but I now understand. [Knock, knock] ``Sheriff: The door is open. Good heavens, it is Kern. ``Kern: Sheriff, I was in the old store room, sorting out some old files, and I overheard 2 Officers outside in the yard, arguing, that they were not going to take the wrap. It was officer 16, and Officer 60. ``Sheriff: Vanna, call up the Chief, the same as before quin? ``Vanna: A delight! --- They are relaying message, and piping him. --- He will be over on the next shuttle flight, book usual Hotel room. ``Sheriff. Agreed. Book the Hotel, quin. ``Vanna: Certus --- All done and confirmed. ``Kern: Blimey, you are all very efficient, I have never seen anything like this before. ``Sheriff: Can you add anything else? ``Kern: Many are not talking to each other as they do not know who is going next, because they are all frightened who will be investigated. ``Sheriff. Brilliant. ``Kern: This is why I wanted to keep my sister out of this. ``Vanna: A wise decision, and I thank you for coming over. ``Gera: I too zaffre. ``Kern: There are some scared Beings out there and they are panicking. ``Sheriff: That is good, as we may be able to nail them, when they slip up.
