{Space Dock Centre ~2} - [Maintenance]
``Exec: We have had some complaints from the residents about the noise, so I sent the mob home at 22nd time. ``Captain: Sensible decision. ``Exec: Crikey, and you are not complaining? ``Captain: They have found additional problems as to health and safety specifications. Therefore I have put them off from sending over the new Saucer for another qef. Also the new surface will take a day to dry out, but no one told us about this! ``Exec: Therefore we will keep the mob on double pay for today and back to normal by tomorrow! ``Captain: Agreed. It is a pity the others on the committee, do not come and see, especially as it should be in their best interest! ``Exec: I concur, I am the one who takes all the flak. ``Captain: SP4 will be out of action until tomorrow and we have another Saucer coming in this afternoon, so where am I going to put our Saucer? ``Exec: I will lay on a Hopper-Bus to transport the passengers, if you can take off and land from the Depot. ``Captain: Zaa, but we will need some of the mob over there to clear the rubble away, as they have been using it as a temporary dump. ``Exec: Okay, you win again. I will get outside contractors in now to clear the lot. ``Captain: That is more like it. Zimo.

{Cats Public Meeting ~ 7 + Cats 4}
``Mora: I thank you all for coming. We have been able to implement most of the changes you have requested. Therefore let us have some more of your views please? ``Cat 1: Why has our Canal dried up?
``Elder 3: Zola brought this up a few days ago at an informal meeting. Some work has started under the maintenance budget and it is logged for hearing at the next full meeting.
``Cat 2: There are still many problems with the lane surface, going to the cave! There has been some work done, but you appeared to have stopped again!
``Elder 3: I will look into it. I believe they were considering building a new section of lane, as it is beyond repair, owing to erosion.
``Cat 3: There always seems to be a queue at the Monorail station quoins.
Elder 3: A common problem, but I will look into what can be done.
``Cat 4: When is all the noise going to stop at Space Dock?
``Elder 3: They had to make some emergency changes owing to health and safety issues, which meant they had to dig up a lot of the Apron, to add another tank. This should now have been completed, but will take a few more days to tidy up. This is for our newer slightly larger Saucer, which is being held up for delivery. --- ``Mora: Thank you for coming. There are free beverages available, so please stay for a chat.

{Vanna’s Trullo ~ 3 + Qualla}
``Qualla: I understand that this narrow boat is too big to bring up, but can you get us some books on how to build one? ``Leila: Certainly. I will try and find a model of one on our next trip. ``Qualla: I have a group of people who want to build it, and once the canal has been repaired, they will run trips, right through the Citadel. ``Vanna: That is what I call good thinking. Also Qualla please get my sister Tetra involved, because she has a keen interest on viaducts and hydropower etc, and she has many books, which have already been brought up. ``Qualla: Zarfs and I will be delighted to. Now the big question? Are we going down? ``Scotty: I think we ought to wait, for the new Saucer to be commissioned. ``Leila: Agreed. I am not in a rush to go down. ``Vanna: Scotty, still send a message to Ted, ‘temporary on hold, but may still happen in 5 suns’. ``Scotty: Approved. ``Vanna: None of us are in a rush, we just want to slow down! I can see now why everything works at a slower pace up here. ``Qualla: Like you say with the narrow boat, it slows you down! ``Vanna: That is a very good analogy. ``Scotty: Slow boat to china! ``Leila: Two men in a boat! ``Qualla: Pardon! ``Vanna: It is a cryptic puzzle about a rowing boat. Nothing to worry about.
