``Gera: The rain is chucking it down. ``Vanna: I can hear it, but do I hear you? ``Gera: It will go on all day, then suddenly stop. ``Vanna: We need to talk, so have another glass of wine! ``Gera: What scheme are you dreaming up now? ``Vanna: One which has been in the pot boiling for a long time. ``Gera: Hey? ``Vanna: I presume that the Earth runs are set to continue for the foreseeable future? ``Gera: Everyone is happy with the learning curves and the education is exceeding all anticipation. ``Vanna: Therefore I do still have a job? ``Gera: Hey! Is this your cack handed sense of humour which I miss every time? So explain! ``Vanna: If Vanna now permanently goes over to Vanna, can she still continue with the runs? `Gera: Why do you always put me on the spot? ``Vanna: I did tell you that you had to pull yourself together, if you want to keep your job? ``Gera: Oh, heck. I cannot see why not, but what about Leila? ``Vanna: No problem. ``Gera: So you are going ahead to change the status quo? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Gera: How?

``Vanna: That is not important at the moment! It is our relationship which concerns me, and are we going to stagnate or improve, when I come back as the real Vanna? ``Gera: You do suddenly come out with it, full on, without any warning! Neither do I get any time to go on the defensive or have any time to think, as I just get flattened. ``Vanna: Take all the time you need, we have not got long. ``Gera: The short answer is Zaa. ``Vanna: Zaffre, that is what I was hoping you would say. ``Gera: You mean, we could have a proper relationship? ``Vanna: You are quick for a change! That is what I am thinking, but I do not know as yet what the side effects will be. Gera: Nor do I. ``Vanna: I will look different! ``Gera: Can we take a look at you? ``Vanna: Sure. That will be interesting. It took Leila a long time to get used to me. Let’s hope you can do better! ``Gera: Why do I put up with you? ``Vanna: There is no choice in the matter.

``Gera: How are we going to proceed with this dilemma? ``Vanna: A declaration to the full committee, for it to be endorsed by all the Elders. ``Gera: That I agree with, in case it happens. ``Vanna: It will then be in the minutes. ``Gera: What about Scotty? ``Vanna: Qaa! He is not to know and I will talk to Jabot to keep it quiet until it has been approved. ``Gera: So you want to call a meeting without Scotty present? ``Vanna: Zaa, and Zola will do the application for an Extraordinary Meeting to discuss the merits of my future. This will mean that Scotty does not need to know. ``Gera: He will not like that! ``Vanna: Tough. ``Gera: Why do I let myself in for this? ``Vanna: Are you coming swimming tonight? ``Gera: Certus. ``Vanna: Good, it will help to get some of that weight off you! ``Gera: Cheeky. ``Vanna: Keith is also coming and it is the first day our new month. ``Gera: That must mean that you have been up here for 6 months. ``Vanna: Correct. ``Gera: I presume within another six months you will be running the place! ``Vanna: What a thought and that could happen if you do not pull yourself together. ``Gera: You are getting catty! ``Vanna: Can you keep the job you were called in to do? ``Gera: Oh!

``Vanna: I am pleased with the changes in the Eldership. I would like to do the second run back to our Island, and Keith would like to come to. I presume we are all in favour? [- Zaa -] Good. So who will be on this trip as I would like Selina and Tetra to come as well? ``Scotty: Still not me? ``Vanna: Not until you have been officially cleared. ``Leila: I think it would be a good idea to have Tetra and her mother with us. ``Zola: I approve. ``Vanna: That will mean it will be Cats only on this trip! ``Zola: In that case lets have Jinn back as well. ``Vanna: That will make six of us -- | -- ``Keith: What about me? ``Vanna: Oh I am so sorry Keith, we will get you home as well. Scotty, please mail the Captain and Jinn with full details. ``Keith: Can you drop me off after this island trip? Because my good lady will be wondering where I have got to! ``Scotty: Noted. I can send a message to Ted to ring your dear wife? ``Keith. Later please.
