Alien Escapade • Episode 0984 - The Dock Visuals: Dalbir, Leila, Scotty, Sheriff, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 06 {Vanna's Trullo, Meeting ~ 5} ``Vanna: Report quin Scotty. ``Scotty: There are 120 computers in stock, and the rest are being made up and will be ready shortly, in about 2 qefs. ``Vanna: Skipper will deliver them all to Hobbs Dock and the Hotel will transport them from there. ``Scotty: The lift shaft is completed and Cables are in laying cables in the lift shaft. ``Vanna: How did you get Cables over there? ``Scotty: Skipper took them in your Vulcan. ``Excellent. I will get over there tomorrow, on the normal S172 flight. ``Sheriff? Everything is arranged, and ready to go. They are putting another ¢20K into the kitty as they are supplying their elite force. ``Vanna: It will cost them ¢1K to feed them all. So Scotty a mail to Cheb with this food warning. ``Sheriff: They need two qefs warning. ``Vanna: We can get there in just over a qef, since we have had the supercharger fitted. ``Sheriff: That is good news to hear. ``Scotty: I want to come on this trip. ``Vanna: You can, but you may end up coming back a nervous wreck. ``Scotty: On the other hand it might help me to get out of my dilemma. ``Vanna: Approved and put it in the minutes. ``Scotty: Zaa. ``Vanna: Leila? ``Leila: The parts are in from Cepheus by robot, and they have started repairing Colly. I have been over to the Dam Restaurant and Hotel as in public relations and all appears to be functioning normally. ``Vanna: Excellent. Tetra, you are quiet? ``Tetra: I am just flabbergasted they were able to get all the amendments completed. I have sent the data to Lacerta and Cepheus of Sednoid. ``Vanna: Sheriff, we have rescanned the Sednoid planet in infra-red mode so we can see the hot spots of activity. ``Sheriff: That will make a lot of difference. ``Vanna: Anything else? Qaa? We can start installing at Hobbs Hotel as soon as the computers are delivered. Maura is closing the top floor off for our use only. ``Leila: It must be drinks time. ``Vanna: I am surprised, there has not been any moans from Scotty. ``Scotty: Cheeky. ``Vanna: Any news on Atlantic City linkups? ``Scotty: I have not considered it. ``Vanna: It was in your remit on things to do! ``Scotty: I have missed it. ``Vanna: Mail Master, and get an update, as I will have to go over now to Space Dock and see if the new links are working, coming Tetra? ``Tetra: Zaa. ``Scotty: Zaa, I will meet you over there in the Buggy. Zimo. {Space Dock Security Centre ~ 3} ``Tetra: What has gone wrong Atlantic City is working, and we have full visual control. ``Vanna: Let us go and see our Captain. --- Quano Dalbir. ``Dalbir: Quano. ``Tetra: We need to use your terminal for a moment. ``Dalbir: Certus. ``Tetra: I will add another camera icon on, and put A/C under the logo. I will do a search on the list, and I have found it. Bingo, and double click for full screen. ``Dalbir: That looks like Atlantic City? ``Vanna: It is. ``Dalbir: That is very clear. ``Tetra: There may be a two spec delay, as it is coming through on relay. We can tilt and pan; zoom or go wide, and if we go close up. In fact if we can tilt it up high enough, we can see who is in the control tower. ``Dalbir: He is the usual radio operator. ``Tetra: There is a reset mode. ``Dalbir: The Captain will be surprised when he comes in. ``Vanna: Zimo for now. --- Back to Security post. Is the Scroll-card access working? ``Tetra: I may have to set it up, as this is different, so give me half time. ``Vanna: I will make us a drink, as I am still dry from our flight. ``Tetra: I too have being feeling thirsty. --- Zarfs. I have connected it up and we now have to wait for someone to scan their Scroll-card. ``Vanna: Put the camera on the terminal and zoom in reception. ``Tetra: It is a bit fuzzy going through a window, but it is clear enough. ``Vanna: A couple of passengers are queuing up. ``Tetra: None of them are booking. ``Vanna: There is a family of 4, and reception is issuing tickets. ``Tetra: It looks like a card, and bingo it is, and it is coming through now and we have it. We had better get over to the Bunker as that part of our link has not been tested, owing to a lack of time. ``Vanna: Make sure it is all behind your security wall. ``Tetra: I am doing that now, but A.C stays on open access. ``Vanna: Okay I will meet you over there.
