``Leila: All goods onboard. Hatches secured and 5 greens. ``Selina: Course is in for P28, bearing 214º. ``Chela: I will be on the long range scanner. ``Vanna: Mach 40K and zoom. ``Chela: 40K? ``Vanna: Confirmed. ``Selina: ETA less than 10 hours. ``Chela: We have gone up in worlds. ``Vanna: We do not think we will get much more in velocity, but this will make sufficient differences to make worlds accessible. We are going close to P22, so do a bearing check and recalculate angles. We can say quano to them and we can reach P24. That will give us two bearings. However the fun will start when we run out of computer markers. ``Chela: How come Boss knows nothing? ``Vanna: I have a radio frequency, but if their battery is flat, then we are snookered. ``Leila: Why did I agree to come? ``Selina: We must be gluttons for punishment. However I had better prepare the drinks and make us a snack, as I am feeling peckish.

``Guards: Is that you Vanna? ``Vanna: Zaa Guard, Just to say quano. We are passing nearby, so we are doing our navigational checks. ``Guards: It is nice to hear from you. ``Vanna: We are looking for P28. ``Guards: Way out of my depth. However we have new problems, with transparent wing span flies. ``Vanna: Report it. I am too far away from you to divert and we will loss in space shortly. I will be talking to P24 shortly. Zimo for now. ``Cheb: I got a good bearing.

``Chap: Is that Vanna? ``Vanna: Well done Chap. We are passing nearby. ``Chap: Nice to hear from you. ``Vanna: Do you know about P28? ``Chap: I have never heard of it, but I will try and find out. ``Vanna: You may lose us on visual, but you should get through via message. ``Chap: Leave it with me. Zimo. ``Chela: That too is good. However we are likely to lose visual at any time and ETA is 4 hour. There is only one planet in our path. I recommend course change, bearing to 224º. ``Vanna: Approved. Using echo sounder and 2º tilt upwards. ``Chela: There is a tiny spot on the scanner. ``Vanna: Keep going for it. Try an image enhancer. ``Leila: It is round. ``Chela: We should be in range in 1 hour.

``Selina: There she is. ``Vanna: Leila send a welcome message on all channels. And try this radio frequency. ``Leila: Nothing so far. ``Vanna: Chela, scan for Beings. ``Chela: Standard, scan setting. We are in 10,000Km and in range. ``Vanna: Keep sending and keep scanning. There may only be a couple of hundred of them. and if they are inside the cave we will not detect them yet. ``Leila: Mach 100? ``Vanna: Confirmed. ``Selina: We have to penetrate through their atmosphere and it is blue/greyish. ``Chela: Alt 1,000Km. ``Vanna: Keep trying. ``Selina: It is dawn. ``Vanna: Infrared mode. ``Chela: We have found them. ``Vanna: ALT 10Km and cameras on recording. ``Selina: There is a valley. ``Chela: We have movement. ``Vanna: Aligning up, and enlarge scan mode. ``Selina: There are about 50 Cave Bears down there. ``Vanna: Try radio again. Still nothing. Okay, I will go down first in Ziggy.

{Planet 28 ~ 6} - [Ziggy]
``Vanna: Powering up and undocking. Cameras on and down I go. I will hover so they can see me. Ah! They are forming a group and pointing over there. So down I go. Landing. Standby mode. Drawbridge down. ``Leader: Yah, Yah. ``Vanna: Welcome, me Vanna. ``Leader: Yah, Yah. ``Vanna: You called for my help? ``Leader: Yah, Yah. ``Bearer: Welcome Vanna. I have been stuck here for years, as no one would answer our calls. Now our radio has died on us. ``Vanna: We can soon fix that. Ziggy to Cosmo, Chela, come down in Hippy over, ``Chela: Zaa Vanna. ``Vanna: We have tried to call you, and we have brought you some live stock. ``Bearer: That is what we need, we are running out of everything. ``Chela: Hippy to Ziggy touching down, down. ``Vanna: This is Bearer, get all the stuff out of Ziggy and then pop back up and bring the rest down. Bring your batteries out, as we need to get them on charge. Cont.
