Oh well, and I am not going to try and persuade Beings to do what they do not want to do, so I am already to go, and I have created my own food packs, and I will have a sleep on route.

``Vanna: All checks completed Course laid in for Draco. I have enough fuel to get there. Unlocking orbit, Mach 1000 to get her going. Now Mach 8000 and zoom. ETA 7 hours. I will go and have a lie down.

``Tetra: What do you mean she has gone off? ``Selina: No one replied to the mails and in her words, if she gets let down that is one thing, but Vanna cannot afford to let others down. So she has presumed you were not interested, and she has gone off solo. ``Tetra: Oh heck! I did not mean this to happen. ``Selina: I agree with Vanna. So none of us are going on the red zone trip. ``Tetra: (almost in tears) Mum? What am I going to do? ``Selina: Albi is definitely not going, so she presumed that you would not want to go either, and she has made other arrangements. ``Tetra: I do not know what to say or to do! I did tell her that I would go. ``Selina: You expect her to do all the work, with you two turning up at the last unit. Vanna has new friends who are willing to get everything arranged for her. This problem has come up a few times with you two! ``Tetra: Point noted. ``Selina: Are you in or out? ``Tetra: I am going out, to cool off.

``Chela: This is my brother Fris. ``Fris: Quin to meet you. ``Tetra: You to. ``Fris: I have flown many hours in S172's, but have not been up in a Snake or an Eagle. ``Tetra: We can arrange a flight in the Snake, but Vanna has sold her Eagle to Fleet. However you can come on the next Algol trip. ``Fris: That will be fun. I did get up in Master's Vulcan, but he has sold it for the S182. ``Tetra: Correct. ``Fris: Why the change from Cosmo1 to Cosmo2? ``Tetra: We were beyond the design limitations. ``Fris: In what way? ``Tetra: Outside temperature at -190ºC. ``Fris: Ouch. ``Chela: I think we ought to eat. ``Tetra: They are going further a field, but it is a two qef trip each way for starters, but there are hiccups. ``Fris: That sounds much more interesting. You manage to get to Yildun in 17 hours? ``Chela: Stop talking and eat, you two can go for a walk afterwards. ``Tetra: So how come you are here? ``Fris: Skipper has allowed me to sit in on the S152 course, so I am staying in Chela's accommodation. ``Tetra: That is more like it.

``Vanna: Ah! Slowing down at last. A message to Control. Cosmo is requesting docking instructions. A reply from control, use Portal1 and you are cleared to proceed. They have sent data which is good. Thrusters only and drifting in. I have to be careful of their sun when it is low on their horizon, and it gives a deception on angles. Turning and [Clink] Docked. Locking dock. Powering down and Air Door has gone to amber.
{Draco Space Dock ~ 2}
``Bearer: Welcome Vanna, where are the others? ``Vanna: I am on my own. ``Bearer: May I escort you? ``Vanna: Zaa, and a drink quin, as I am shaking. ``Bearer: Certus. ``Capitan: Dear Vanna and welcome. I will have the same Bearer. ``Bearer: Certus and I too will join you. Vanna, has come single handed. ``Capitan: Wonderful Vanna and a true pilot. ``Vanna: I cannot afford to let a fellow Capitan down. ``Capitan: Very honourable and sweet of you. ``Vanna: We can undock the Vulcan off first? ``Capitan: If you are fit then let us get it done. ``Vanna: We may have to undock to get the clearances for the Plus.
