Alien Escapade º Episode 1236 - Wormhole 3: Albi, Beagle, Bois, Farl, Incus, Merk, Riss, Selina, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 10 {Vanna's Trullo ~ 2} - [Ping-Pong-Ping] - [On Visual] ``Beagle: Fleet is still waiting to see you! ``Vanna: I will get their ASAP. How are things going? ``Beagle: The connecting tunnels are all bored and they are installing the travolators at the fleet end. It is still going to run over budget again, but they are making everything heavy duty, which I have approved it. ``Vanna: That is more like it. I presume you did a justification report? ``Beagle: Zaa, and you will have to talk to Boaz, so you had better get over here! He is amuzed about your Portal 5. ``Vanna: Once the night landing lights at Fleet Works are done, my contract is finished. ``Beagle: Both are nearly finished, so you had better get over. ``Vanna: You win, and I will pop over to PQ to pick some equipment up. I will get a crew together. The wormhole is going towards Ursa Minor and we are too far away to consider this angle, for Polaris. If we are going to consider going Polaris, we have to go straight north via Cepheus northern most star. However we can go through the wormhole and can plot the tunnel and send off the calculations for another update. {Flicks Theatre ~ 3} ``Vanna: We cannot get the projector system to work with our computers. ``Incus: You need an additional graphics interface card, the one which comes with the older style of visual data leads, and we work out which combination to use. ``Vanna: Let us get down to the computer wholesalers, and buy the right one. [Later] ``Incus: I have fitted it, so call Merk in! --- ``Vanna: Merk, can you power up in run mode? ``Merk: Certus. --- ``Incus: We have audio, but no visual, so let me change the in and out leads around, and bingo. ``Merk: Amazing, you have achieved it. ``Vanna: Zarfs Incus. I will talk later. Zimo. ``Merk: What has to be done next? ``Vanna: You need some floor florescent reflectors down the stairways, and some stronger handrail supports. The other problem is that you need a new fire curtain, but replace the lot. ``Merk: Okay, I will get them done. ``Vanna: Some of the seats are a bit rocketry, so put some new one ones on the end of the rows as they are different sizes and push those older ones into it places. ``Merk: That is a good idea. I will give it a call when it is all done. Zimo. {Cosmo. Citadel in transit to Algol ~ 7} ``Albi: Bottom hatch secured and 5 greens. ``Tetra: Already for Algol. ``Vanna: Unlocking orbit. Mach 1600 and zoom. ``Vanna: Autopilot on, Hyperdrive in and long range scanners are on. [Cosmo Mess] ``Selina: Your usual are coming up. ``Bois: I have another big contract to fulfil. It is another estate and there are at least 20 to be updated. ``Vanna: Same rules apply as before. I will drop your equipment off, with you and Cables, and come back when you have finished. I will charge you ¢5K for transportation. The rest is down to you. You are capable now of installing them yourself. ``Bois: Okay, I agree. ``Vanna: I will come with you to see this estate. ``Bois: A couple have their own Satellite dish. ``Vanna: Set up a link on your Intranet system, and it will work. Your Tech Bod should know all this. ``Bois: He puzzles me at times. ``Riss: Zarfs for letting Farl and I come on this trip. ``Vanna: You are welcome, but we may get a bit of fun. ``Riss: We have now all taken the air law exam. ``Vanna: Well done, and it is worth it. ``Riss: It does give you clout over the passengers. ``Farl: We are both working on the weather exam, so we know what to expect, before it is too late. ``Vanna: I have been in some tricky situations, and so has our Captain, and you have to consider your passengers first, but they do not like it when they cannot land back for whatever the reason. ``Riss: It happens and it has got dicey on a couple of trips. ``Vanna: My last encounter was to come through the eye of the storm, but I did not have any passengers to worry about.
