Tetra, Treasurer, Vanna, Works, ~ 10 [Cont:] ``Malcolm: Fine, but why not Cosmo? ``Captain: Vanna will not be here, as she will be in Sednoid. ``Malcolm: Oh heck, but she was supposed to be back from there! ``Captain: Delays. {Hobbs City Space Dock HQ ~ 4} ``Sec: Quano Vanna. ``Vanna: Quano Sec, this is Leila my partner who has come to show Treasurer how the new books have to be laid out. ``Sec: Quano Leila. Here are two names who have resigned with three months pay in lieu of notice. ``Vanna: Fine, I will take Leila through and get this lot sorted out. [Treasurer's Office] ``Treasurer: Zibo Bose. ``Vanna: Leila, will stay with you to explain the new system, and I will authorize some payments later. Zimo. [Work's Office] ``Works: Zibo Bose. ``Vanna: I have brought 5 ticket barriers, so get them set up and temporary installed, but align them up with the portals, and get Beings to use them, as they have to be practical. ``Works: Zaa. Bose. ``Vanna: What happened about alarm circuit? ``Works: They were here for about an hour and were gone. ``Vanna: Carpenter? ``Works: I mentioned it, but nothing. [Secretary's Office] ``Vanna: Pull out the contract for the alarm company and find any clauses, as I want it cancelled now. Also it would never get through an inspection. ``Sec: It is a one year contract and we have been with them for a long time, so there are qaa penalties. ``Vanna: Fine. Cancel their contract with immediate effect. Mail Cables HQ and tell them to come over and put a new system in, plus new fire doors from Vanna. ``Sec: Zaa Vanna. [Manager's Office] ``Manager: Quano Bose. ``Vanna: I want the prefabricated building emptied and make a list of contents and stack it all down in the basement with access. It is then to be demolished, so get and out side contractors to do this owing to health and safety concerns. ``Manager: Zaa Bose. [Admin Office] ``Admin: Quano Bose. ``Vanna: The tree stub has to be removed, and fill the hole in with rubble and resurface. The fuel point will now go in its place. Therefore, call in Cables HQ, and talk to Sec, as they will add the new fuel line. Then you can remove the old one. ``Admin: Zaa Bose. [Treasurer's Office] ``Vanna: Come on Leila, it is way past munch time. ``Leila: Coming. [Munch Bar] ``Vanna: Have what you like, and it will go on my tab anyway. ``Leila: I will have the special. ``Cook: What can I get you two? ``Vanna: 2 specials a jug of white juice. ``Leila: Your Mum, will have to have new books. We are okay this year, but it is too confusing and there are not enough columns with the right subject headings. ``Cooks: Munches. ``Vanna: Zarfs. Okay. I will explain to mum, but get what is needed. ``Vanna: I would have sacked the old treasurer, Bosky did it for me. Urga has all the books for the last five years and her is checking them over. ``Leila: That is a relief. {Ranger's Outpost ~ 4} ``Chief: Blimey, it is working. ``Vanna: Algol are asleep, but what about Planet-Q? It should be early morning. [Da, da - da, da] You must wait at least half a unit, and they too need time to respond. ``Chief: That is understandable. ``Vanna: Well as you can see the link is working, but no one is there. So I will leave it all to you! ``Chief: We never confirmed the finances. ``Vanna: It is a standard rate of ¢10K per year, plus ¢5K installation. ``Chief: Okay, plus two trips to Planet-Q and Algol? ``Vanna: Agreed. ``Chief: I will get the committee in and demonstrate this to them, and I will authorize payment.
