Alien Escapade • Episode 1018 - The Waters: Boss, Albi, Maura, Scotty, Tetra, Vanna, Water, ~ 07 {Hobbs City Hotel ~ 6} ``Maura: The top 3 floors are completed, so you can start installing the new computers. ``Vanna: Scotty, Tetra, and Albi can start now on that lot. --- ``Maura: The planners cannot find where the water main comes into the building. ``Vanna: Call in the Water Group, and tell them it is Health and Safety problem and it is not marked on the plans, and we have low water pressure. ``Maura: I am quinned you mentioned that, because I have not been happy with it. However will they come out quickly? ``Vanna: They must, and should be here in 1 hour. ``Maura: I will come and find you. ``Water: What is the problem? ``Vanna: Where is it? ``Water: Urn, I do not know. ``Vanna: Well you had better dig it up from last known location and lay fresh piping, and put in a proper control flow box. ``Water: I will get the Boss out, as this is a too big for me to do. I will be back. [Hotel Basement Computer room] ``Vanna: Wonderful we have Floor 12 live, and Room 1201 is working. I am going to have a drink. --- ``Water: I have found you! Vanna, my boss is calling in the whole team and they will be here shortly. ``Vanna: Excellent and zarfs. I had better get back to work. [Later] ``Water: You have got everyone beaten on this! It looks like it comes in from the back off another main, but that is not allowed, and it is still not on the plans. So we are digging back to the last known point. It will take at least a qef. ``Vanna: Fine and zarfs. Folks we have top floor computers working, so move everything down a floor and Maura can reopen Floor 12. ``Scotty: You mean we have to drag this lot down a floor? ``Vanna: Use the lift, and take the rest down to Floor 10 in one go. ``Albi: Touché. ``Scotty: Cheeky. ``Tetra: Come on Albi, we can take one computer with us, which will mean one less for Scotty. --- ``Vanna: We can stop for munches, on the Hotel. [Later] ``Vanna; We have done the top three floors, and everything appears to be working, so give us a call when you have the next three emptied. ``Maura: That is marvellous news. I will reopen them. Watch out for the trench as they are going to lay a new bigger water main. ``Vanna: Zarfs and Zimo. {Network 10 HQ ~ 2} ``Bois: Zaffre for coming in. We have a problem with switching over to our broadcasting system in Algol City Hotel, and all we seem to get is interference. ``Vanna; Can you see your channels trying to take over? ``Bois: Qaa. ``Vanna: Have they been having trouble with their old system? ``Bois: Loads, but I do not know why, and they wanted more freedom of choice on our system. ``Vanna: It does appear to be a Hotel problem. ``Bois: We do not know where to look or how to resolve it. ``Vanna: Who is going to pay the bill for us to go and suss out what is wrong? ``Bois: I will cover it, but they have agreed to pay, if it is their fault. ``Vanna: So how have you been getting to Algol? ``Bois: We have got a special rate, with the Eagle Fleet, and Eagle 4 has been taking us. ``Vanna: Get it approved, and we will come out. ``Bois: How soon can you go? ``Vanna: As soon as I can get Master to come, as we are still recuperating after the last mammoth trip to Auriga. ``Bois: That is a long haul and what were they like? ``Vanna: Not recommended. ``Bois: You went all that way to find that out? ``Vanna: Zaa.
