Neither can I blame them. ``Gina: It was a bit rude how they rushed us away. ``Vanna: They could not cope. {Cosmo Lacerta in Transit to Wormhole ~ 9} ``Albi: Hatches secured and 5 greens. ``Tetra: My layout is different, and things are in different places, so bear with me whilst I find things. I also have more options, which is wonderful. We can now plot an automatic course to the wormhole, so Master has only to give his approval. Master? ``Master: Undocking from Portal on thrusters only. ``Vanna: Okay we are out of zone area and Mach 37. ``Master: Hyperdrive in and Autopilot is on. ``Tetra: ETA 1-hour. ``Master: Time for a quick drink. [Cosmo Mess] ``Albi: How much did they do? ``Vanna: The lot. ``Feny: That must cost a fortune? ``Vanna: It did, and I will notice a big drop in my bank account when I get home. ``Jarry: So it was worth it? ``Vanna: Oh zaa. I have also had the tank filled up. ``Tetra: We must go back, sometime. ``Vanna: I will. [Cosmo Bridge] ``Tetra: The new theory is it should now line us up with the wormhole. --- Okay, it is offering manual control. Master? ``Master: Zaa. ``Tetra: There is the grey patch to port. ``Master: I see it, and we are being dragged into the grey tunnel. ``Tetra: It is saying we are at a velocity of Mach 74. ``Vanna: Excellent. So we will be through it, in about 22 units. ``Master: The others are watching this on the smart screen. ``Tetra: Zaa. --- Wow, 23 unit and we are through it and out the other end. ``Vanna: Head for the north west planet of Cepheus. ``Tetra: Activated. ETA 1-hour. Beacon sensor is on. ``Master: I am hungry again. [Cosmo Mess] ``Master: Can I quin have some proper food? ``Gina: Zaa. ``Liang: That was an amazing sight of the Lacertians and of the wormhole. ``Fenny: It reminded me of the tunnel through the Alps. ``Vanna: It is a pity that Leila is not here to see it, but Tetra has recorded it, for her to view. ``Tetra: We are slowing down. [Cosmo Bridge] ``Tetra: Permission to go to Sednoid? ``Master: Approved. ``Vanna: Approved. Course laid in and 'Zoom'. ``Vanna: Try Mach 42. ``Tetra: Zaa. ``Master: I do not believe this. ``Vanna: I am not wasting another qef to get there. ``Tetra: I have checked the engine balance and it looks nice. ``Vanna: Okay Mach 48. ``Master: This is incredible. ``Tetra: Mach 48 it is. ``Vanna: Master, this has cost me ¢50K, so I want at least Mach 50. ``Tetra: Zaa Vanna. Mach 50. ``Master: Oh heck, we are actually doing Mach 50. ``Tetra: ETA 4-hours to Sednoid. ``Vanna: Let us go and have some lunch and not snacks, as I can smell it. [Cosmo Mess] ``Jarry: Have we time to eat? ``Tetra: 4-hours. ``Jarry: Okay, so it is true what it is says? ``Master: It is surprising me. ``Tetra: Wait and see, you doubters! ``Gina: What are we doing when we get there? ``Vanna: Just scanning this new style planet of Sednoid, and sending the data back to Lacerta and Cepheus. [Cosmo Bridge] ``Master: We are at this unusual orbit height of 225 Km. ``Vanna: Put the shields up! ``Master: Oh sorry I forgot. ``Tetra: Lock orbit so I can start scanning. ``Vanna: Put the landing camera on. ``Tetra: Hey there are two of them! ``Vanna: The new one is infra-red so we can also scan hot spots. ``Tetra: Oh sister this is wonderful. Starting scans now. We should get around Sednoid within 1 hour. ``Master: You have been busy. ``Vanna: We will do a trimetrogon projection of the planet. ``Tetra: That will take 3-hours. ``Vanna: Keep SCANDA on and we can put that on trace, in case we miss something. So I will go and talk to the others. --- ``Selina: As we are in the quiet room, did you really pay ¢50K for all the conversions? ``Vanna: It is worth every Qintar of it, and it only matters to everyone else that I did. ``Selina: Have we now got the fastest ship in our Galaxy? ``Vanna: We are now Cosmo1 plus, and zaa we are higher than Cosmo2.
