``Admin: We are very concerned on how much this project is going to set us back, and it works out to be more than the original quote from the old suppliers even with their increases. There is no reflection upon Vanna for this, but if we are going to finance the extra, we need to know why! ``Maury: The original quote was for ¢250K. ``Admin: Vanna? ``Vanna: I am afraid that your old lifts will not pass health and safety standards, and we need a refurbished lift shaft with fresh anchoring points to lay in the new cables. ``Finance: Maury you did not mention this? ``Maury: They are happy to renew our lift contract, so I did not mention it. ``Admin: Vanna, what else do we need? ``Vanna: The computers are ¢1K each, which includes locking devices and you have 155 rooms. You will need 5 more for administration purposes, and some cameras. This will also cover the Parki and one for your roof Garden. The Cable run alone will go into 5Km. ``Admin: That only makes ¢200K! ``Vanna: cabling will go through the air duct system, which means that everything has to be fumigated to safeguard against Legionnaire's disease. ``Finance: Why did you not mention this in your report Maury? ``Maury: No one has mentioned it until now. ``Admin: What else have you spotted Vanna? ``Vanna: A twin 'star-delta system which comes with the new generator, as you need a much higher KVA rating. ``Finance: Maury, why have you not mentioned any of this? ``Maury: If it is not broken do not fix it. ``Admin: We are dealing with the public, and we are responsible. ``Maury: I did warn you about Heath and Safety problems. ``Finance: We did not know that it was this serious with so many problems. ``Admin: We could get closed down! ``Maury: That is why I got a 1 month extension, as I told them, I am bringing Vanna in. ``Finance: If I approve this, then once it is all done the rates will have to go up by ¢10 per night to pay for it. ``Vanna: This is what the Citadel is doing. ``Admin: It appears we have no choice in the matter. ``Finance: Approved. Vanna, send us your bill for being here today, and quin, come and have lunch with us all, so we can continue informal discussions. ``Vanna: Zaffre, and I will be delighted to join you.

``Selina: You are too late for dinner, but are you hungry? ``Vanna: Just something light as I have had a meal at Hobbs City Hotel. ``Selina: Crikey you are going places. ``Vanna: The others do not know yet, and it can wait for our next meeting, but I have another bigger contract. ``Selina: Wonderful news. How about your favourite? ``Vanna: Zaa, that will do nicely. So where is everyone? ``Selina: They have all gone to the concert. ``Vanna: It looks like another trip to Algol shortly, but we will drop them all off, and go off chasing. Therefore it is likely to end up being two nights, which may include Scotty.

{Citadel Hotel ~ 1} - [Basement]
``Vanna: There is the other new box from Cables mounted on the lower wall. I now plug in this special lead to the new box and into the special card socket on the back of the computer, and this will now get the film channels. It says I have a new connection. Click on the link and up comes a menu with choices. Excellent it is offering Cassiopeia - Algol - Cepheus. Let us try Algol. Marvellous, I have Algolian TVO 6 which is their nature channel, so that is working. I can now send a mail to Network 10, saying 'all okay'. Sent.

``Vanna: What would you say, if I said that I have enough work to keep you going for another moth? ``Gov: Zaa. ``Vanna: Before we can get into that, can you be ready to go to Algol shortly? ``Gov: Zaa. ``Vanna: Good, because you also then have two qefs work in Atlantic City. The new job is at Hobbs City Hotel, and you can stay at the Hotel, where you will be working, but the job is twice as big as the Citadel and twice as many problems. ``Gov: Absolutely marvellous. They have all been working, 12 oras a qef.
