Alien Escapade • Episode 0962 - The Gathering: Cook, Dàshî, Liang, Feny, Fûrèn, Malcolm, Leila, Master, Selina, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 11 [Cont:] ``Vanna: We can all squeeze in the Hopper in one go, if Master goes in the Hold. ``Master: That would normally be a good idea. ``Vanna: We can stop at 28 Km for final briefing. ``Malcolm: Everyone board Ziggy. ``Master: Locking orbit and in standby mode. Shields up and no known activity. [Ziggy] ``Tetra: Hatches secured and 2 greens. ``Vanna: Powering up and waiting for red lights to turn green. ``Tetra: Course laid and we will hover at 28 Km. ``Vanna: Okay, here goes folks. ``Tetra: Lower orbit height and starting cross checks. --- These little satellites can be, a nuisance and we must wait. [Walkie-Talkie] ``Vanna: Vanna to Dàshî, over. ``Dàshî: Go ahead over. ``Vanna: Is the zone all clear? ``Dàshî: Yes, you have total clearance and are cleared to land. ``Vanna: Tetra? ``Tetra: SCANDA is all clear. ``Vanna: Dropping down and cloud bursts. Laser lights on. Camera on, descending down, down. Final checks. ``Tetra: Looking fine. ``Vanna: Okay powering down. ``Tetra: Drawbridge down. Folks follow me and keep to the pathway. ``Vanna: Drawbridge up. ``Dàshî: Hello all and welcome to China. Please make yourselves at home and relax in the chairs. ``Fûrèn: Leila? ``Leila: Fûrèn hello again. ``Fûrèn: Vanna, how wonderful. Please try some of our Chinese tea, so help yourselves. ``Dàshî: It is amazing how you managed to get here. ``Feny: I can vouch for that. ``Liang: I can to. ``Feny: It will be more interesting, going up from here. ``Dàshî: I will get round to you all, but all in good time and I will allow you to acclimatize. ``Tetra: It gets to us all, in different ways. ``Dàshî: When you are ready, we will take a 10 minute walk to the Village hall where everyone else is waiting, and we have our armed security guard who will follow us. ``Leila: Let's go, past the local police. [10 minute walk later] ``Cook: Greetings all, please do come in and sit wherever you like around the two tables and please do not group. ``Dàshî: My wife will be on one table and I will be on the other table. Master, go and sit with my wife! ``Master: Yes. ``Cook: We have created a light three course lunch. If you do not like any of it, we do not mind. My staff will serve up. [Later] ``Cook: I am impressed, that most of it has gone. ``Vanna: Make sure our guard gets some! ``Cook: We have been feeding him. ``Dàshî: So sit back and rest and please chat, and our interpreters will help you. [Later] ``Vanna: It has been a lovely meeting and we have been here longer than expected. I am not moaning, but I think it is time to take a walk back to your fángzi, and thank you to everyone. ``Dàshî: I thank you for coming too, so guard we are walking back. [10 minute walk later] ``Feny: I have not enjoyed myself so much for a long time. ``Liang: I have never experienced anything like it. ``Dàshî: My wife and I were talking on the way back, and everyone was extremely pleased. ``Vanna: Can we all have another cup of your Chinese tea, before we leave? ``Fûrèn: Certainly. ``Vanna: How much luggage do you two have? ``Feny: Just the usual travel trolley each. ``Vanna: Master, can we fit you all in, as I do not want to risk two hops? ``Master: Zaa, if Tetra and Albi stay in the hold with their luggage. ``Fûrèn: Tea is served. ``Vanna: Zarfs: Feny and Liang you come on board after Leila, we are over our weight limit, and Leila can do the checks. ``Tetra: Master has to go first as he is the biggest! ``Master: Cheeky. ``Vanna: I do not like saying good bye, but we must go. --- Drawbridge down. ``Leila: Drawbridge up. Checking hatches and 2 greens. ``Vanna: Powering up. --- ``Master: Give it longer to warm up as we are over our 'all-up-weight-limit'. ``Vanna: I will wait until she is well in the green zone. Cont.
