``Pilot: I have finished my workload, so we can go home. ``Vanna: Fine. ``Pilot: It is too soon for any answers and it may be a late one tomorrow, before she is finished, as we have extra work to do. ``Vanna: I can still not work out where the undercarriage is. ``Pilot: I will be over shortly to change the filters on the S182, so we can go up and take an external look around. ``Vanna: There is a simple logic to these manuals, but why am I missing it?. ``Pilot: That is because you need the subject and not the section. ``Vanna: Ah! That is it! We need to know their language for undercarriage. ``Pilot: You will have to start another language and translate. ``Vanna: Hang on! Could it be similar to Italian, which would put 'under' in as 'sotto' and can I remember the other word for carriage? Sottococca, and bingo. ``Pilot: It might be under 'emergency procedures'. ``Vanna: I have found it. ``Pilot: You have? ``Vanna: Here! We have 3 instruments panels, and this is on the right hand panel at the top on the left bank of instruments, and there is the switch, and it says 'sotto'. ``Pilot: Wonderful. ``Vanna: I have brought some food for our tea tonight. ``Pilot: We could pop out for a drink later, as they have some live music on. ``Vanna: As long as it traditional. ``Pilot: Okay, now let me have a look, as we need to find the thrusters. The nearest I can get to it is 'spinta' a 'driven force', and I have found it. That too is on the same row, as the others are. Oh I like it and it is logical. They are intelligent.

``Selina: Vanna will not be back until tomorrow evening. Therefore Leila and Malcolm will look after you tomorrow, and they will take you on the monorail. ``Dàshî: This will be interesting to see the differences in yours and our Chinese Monorail systems. ``Selina: I am also interested too on your views, so you can tell us over supper tomorrow evening. ``Fûrèn: We will. ``Dàshî: Can we go and see your Volcano? ``Selina: Zaa, I do not see why not, now it has settled down again. It would be nice to go in the Snake, but it is over 12,000 Km away and maybe out of range. I will mail our Captain and ask him for his suggestions, and you can talk to Leila tomorrow, whilst you are out. --- I have mail Leila confirming the arrangements, but it is an early start, as it is half 7th time, pick up. ``Dàshî: We will be ready. --- ``Selina: A reply from Captain. !!We can go around it and we can show you a live visual on the smart screen, but we would have to get special permission to land. That is a job for Tetra, but where is she? Is she in the Bunker or in her room, as the notice board implies that she is around. I will mail her with the details.

``Pilot: Okay it is all done, and my workers, worked late last night and it is already gone 19th time this zonule, but they will get paid overtime. ``Vanna: The bad news is? ``Pilot: We had to replace the whole of the navigational computer system as it was not compatible. I have added in your extra data. So that is ¢1,500. The 4 new tyres are ¢200; the filters for fuel and the water, ¢100; the 6 new oxygen cylinders are ¢600; a new sewage system which stank, at ¢750; a new drawbridge seal as it was brittle in places at ¢120; the heater booster was ¢180. There are some other little parts and bushes, which were worn. Now the labour. We have flushed out your water system, and your fuel system, so we have fresh fuel to half full capacity. All your crystals have been changed and all other filters. The Inspector did a full SAA check and it has been approved, and the original registration for Ziggy is Lacerta, and he had never seen one before. Therefore, here is your certificate. ``Vanna: Zarfs, so what is the total damage? ``Pilot: ¢3,500 for parts; ¢500 for the SAA test; and labour charges of ¢1,000. Therefore a total bill of ¢5,000 quin. ``Vanna: My Scroll-card! ``Pilot: Zaffre and that has naturally been accepted. ``Vanna: So the only thing now left to do, is a test flight so you can explain the differences. ``Pilot: A delight. ``Vanna: You will then file a flight plan, and sign me off for a cross country return journey. ``Pilot: Certus. It is all yours, so let us go, as long as you bring me back. ``Vanna: Now what a thought! Are you coming quietly? ``Pilot: Hah, ha.
