Get Scotty over with a replacement.

``Vanna: I am off home, so I will leave you to your own devices. ``Tetra: I think we ought to go and see Cables HQ, and find out how long they will take to finish the loop. ``Vanna: Certus. I will divert.

It was a lovely trip to Algol, so zaffre. ``Vanna: Zaffre, and I will put you on the next trip to Cepheus. ``Gov: Wonderful. ``Tetra: How far have you to go, to get the loop finished? ``Gov: We had to stop and make some more cable, as we left the rest behind in Algol. Therefore only a pair of qefs, as we are on the last kilometre. ``Vanna: Network 10 should be active by tomorrow. ``Gov: They were having some problems. ``Tetra: A faulty I/O board. ``Vanna: We will need another 5Km of cable for Cepheus, and it will be a six qef trip. ``Gov: I will make sure we keep producing more cable.

A mail message to Cosmo Group. Subject - Earth time. Dear Group, I am ready to go to Earth as soon as your are. Quin, advise ASAP as I have to work out Earth time. Regards Vanna. Sent. Now where did I hide my old laptop? Ah! Here it is stacked away in the cupboard. I will get it connected up, as it will need charging up on our special adaptor. --- Oh that is good it is saying it is 08H10.

A mail reply from Master. Subject Earth time. I can be with you by 10th time. Oh blast I have not booked Kara for food. I will reply to Master. Approved. A mail to Kara. Subject - Food. Kara, I need 5 food packs to go to Earth, and 7 packs for our return by 10th time. Sent. A mail reply from Skipper. He too says 10th time, so I will send the same reply. Sent. Master is the important one and he has replied, so the others can follow suit. Normally our Captain and the crew would do all this, but the onus is now on me to do the lot.

Tetra has confirmed, so I wait for Zola. One back from Scotty. Approved. Who or what have I missed as I have to think for everyone else. Ah! Finally one in from Zola, Confirmed. --- A reply, back from Yafo. Kara is out at the moment, but I will have them ready for you in the morning. Regards Yafo. That is good, so I can go and cook myself some dinner, but I will have to finish up the odds and ends. So what concoction can I create? Oh, that lot will do!
