``Okapi: Is it true that we can have a visual link up with Auntie in Algol? ``Selina: Zaa, as soon as they can resolve the issues, but it has been ordered up. ``Okapi: What about a visual link up with Uncle? ``Selina: It is feasible because you had that link with Space Dock. but not at the moment. So he has to come down here. ``Okapi: Marvellous news, so I am off up to see Uncle. Zimo. ``Selina: My husband has gone out! Tetra is with her Bearfriend, Vanna is out gallivanting, and I am stuck here all alone. So where do I go from here? I think I ought to disappear for a few qefs, but where could I go, and what would I do? Is life catching me up, though life has been good to me so far?

{Airbase ~ 4} - [Next Morning]
``Carrell: Zibo all. [Zibos] ``S-Pilot: We are off to Cepheus in the morning, to pick up the Vulcan, and Carrell would like to come too. I have warned her it is an endurance test. ``Vanna: Carrell, you do need someone with you so Scotty, will you go? ``Scotty: Zaa, and Peggy said she would come to. ``S-Pilot: Excellent. Ming suggested that she would like to go. ``Vanna: That is settled. You are all to be at Space Dock for 8th time.

``S-Pilot: Okay, down to business! Your Snakes! We have changed many parts and fortunately they have been universal, so we can call it ¢500 all in. You needed 2 new tyres and they are a universal size, and we had some on the shelf collecting dust. Therefore I will do them for ¢100 each. Fuel is 100 litres per snake, so we will call that another¢200 each. Plus the fuel conversion units at ¢2,000. The service charge is ¢500 for each snake. Therefore you have done well, and have got off light. Here are your 2 Space Airworthiness the Certificates, and the total price is ¢3,800. ``Vanna: Zarfs, and I have made the voucher out for ¢4,000 so I am in credit for a while. ``S-Pilot: Zarfs. ``Vanna: I need to do the conversion course for the Snake, so when can you do it? ``S-Pilot: I will work on it whilst we are in flight, and I will prepare it as soon as I am back. In the mean time, you need to get your Hopper license upgraded to allow for the Rattle Snake. You may have to go to Atlantic City, and talk to Master. ``Vanna: Zaa: I will go tomorrow, if I can catch Skipper tonight.

``S-Pilot: I will also be running the radio course for Selina and Zola, and now Leno, plus Tetra's 50 hour exam, but I will play tough on her. ``Vanna: I am quinned to hear it and you have my full support, bearing in mind that she is the youngest Cat ever to do this. ``S-Pilot: I will take that into consideration. I forgot the Radio and mast, so let us call it quits? ``Vanna: Agreed. How far will 100 litres of fuel, go as in time? ``S-Pilot: At a rough guess about 400Km, bearing in mind that you are feeding two engines, with average weight load in normal conditions. I too have to get up to speed on this. ``Vanna: Zarfs Pilot. I am very quinned, with your efforts and you have done me a good deal. ``Pilot: So have a good time in Cepheus. ``Vanna: Zarfs, and I know you will look after Carrell. ``S-Pilot: As you did with Beagle. ``Vanna: Touché.

{Malcolm's Pad ~ 2}
``Leila: Have you quietened down now? ``Malcolm: Yes, and I am sorry to be a pain, but I just could not see what was going to happen. ``Leila: Well you need not have worried, because the Algol trip was abandoned as we have Eagle 19 here, and Feny and Liang are on holiday. ``Malcolm: Are they getting engaged? ``Leila: We hope so, but have no information as such. ``Malcolm: So when are we going to Earth? ``Leila: Two wesks at the moment, as there still may be another trip to Algol. ``Malcolm: We should still go to Earth. ``Leila: Will you stop your aggression and give in, because it does not work that way up here. Neither should you be so selfish, because Vanna has funded some of these flights personally, and the normal price is ¢5,000 per seat, per trip. ``Malcolm: You have a valid point. ``Leila: Therefore she is entitled to make changes, and we do have cut backs, from the Oligarchy. ``Malcolm: The Vulcan is leaving for Cepheus early in the morning.
