``Boss: The Cirrus 1, project appears to be a big flop and no one is buying them. ``S-Pilot: There is a lot of interest, but it means they all have to upgrade their licences, and they need flying hours, which they cannot get as they do not have that class of Saucer. ``Sales: Regardless of it being too big. ``Manager: Therefore Boss, there is only one drastic answer. ``Boss: I have already been advised, so spell it out. ``Manager: We have to dump all potential sells for the Cirrus 1, and buy another Vulcan. ``S-Pilot: I am in favour, because it is a little smaller, and it is only a conversion course to upgrade. ``Sales: We can support it as well. ``Boss: The only thing is that I could end up losing a hundred thousand Qintars, and I will have to cancel the extended buildings project. ``Sales: The Vulcan will sell, and will bring money in. ``Boss: I will go and see the bankers and auditors, and get their advice, but I agree. So start returning everything to Cirrus Head- Quarters, and sort out where we can buy another Vulcan, ``Manager: There is one on Cepheus, which does not work, so we could pay Captain to bring it over. ``Boss: Keep me up to date, and get a quote. ``Malcolm: I thought I would pop over and see you in my lunch break, and I have sent you a mail. ``Leila: I will knock you up a snack. ``Malcolm: Zarfs. ``Leila: I am contented in helping out on the local runs, but to be told that I have to take the radio exam, without being asked is disrespectful. ``Malcolm: That is what our Captain said. ``Leila: I will have words with him later. Here you are, hot drink and a snack. ``Malcolm: But will you do it? ``Leila: Zaa, because Selina is also taking the course, so we can do it together, and it is part and parcel of our job. ``Malcolm: We do have a shortage of licensed radio operators. ``Leila: Where is this respect, Malcolm?

``Kirin: Captain, we cannot go yet, and these old oxygen cylinders are going rusty. ``Captain: Get Pilot over here now, with 10 new ones. ``Kirin: Neither am I happy with the balance gauge. We need a better type. ``Captain: Approved, sort it out quin. --- ``Kirin: He cannot get over until tomorrow as he is out on an important meeting. ``Captain: Zarfs, we need to slow down anyway. ``Kirin: We can stand down until 6th time tomorrow? ``Captain: Zaa. Send a mail to everyone.
[Next Morning]
``S-Pilot: Bugby to base, dropping down. ``Kirin: Base to Bugby, confirmed. ``S-Pilot: Zibo Kirin, you and Jarry can unload the goods. ``Kirin: Zaa. ``S-Pilot: I must go and find the Captain. Captain, I will buy breakfast, as we need to talk. ``Captain: Certus. --- ``Kara: What are you having? ``Pilot: Two Tapir Baps and croak Beans. ``Kara: Zaa. ``Captain: So what is happening? ``S-Pilot: We are dropping the Cirrus 1 project. ``Captain: I am not surprised, especially after the crashed Saucer, 7 moths ago. Pilot: That was the final stumbling factor, and the main board and the banks have approved it. ``Captain: What is next? ``S-Pilot: There is a Vulcan in Cepheus, and we need a quote for you to get it over to us. ``Captain: Certus.

Cirrus Discontinued.
