``Vanna: The visual link is working to Hobbs City, but I am still waiting for the new cables to be installed here. ``Scotty: They have started laying the new cables, but they are having to lay new conduit as well, because the new cables are higher in specification with rat poison, meaning the cables are much thicker.

``Vanna: There are no planned trips to Earth, and I feel that everyone is contented with that, but how did you get on, Scotty? ``Scotty: It was okay, and Ding was very hard to talk to, but I was mostly on my own coming back, which did get monotonous at times, but it was interesting and brought back a few memories.

``Vanna: Lacerta. There have been many planned updates to this problem, but going in Cirrus Mk 3, is out of the question. ``Tetra: That is because they are still building them! ``Vanna: Hah, ha, and zaffre Tetra. It would also mean major modifications. Moreover, we are likely to come back from Lacerta empty handed. Therefore the Vulcan is being modified with additional sensors. Tetra?

``Tetra: The stars in Lacerta are almost in line with each other, therefore we cannot see the others from where we are in the Universe. The Nav engineer has also said that Lacerta is in a different dimension and you cannot see it clearly from the haze of other constellations. Therefore we have to find a void, which neither can we see. ``Leila: So it is the blind leading the blind? ``Zola: Zaa. ``Vanna: This is why the modifications are being made to the Vulcan. We will then adventure out whilst on a test flight. In the meantime, we intend going out for a qef in the S182. Leila and Malcolm, we will appreciate you on radio watch, quin. ``Leila: Approved. ``Vanna: This will make other endurance tests look easy, but you get nothing for nothing. ``Scotty: We need an independent tracking station. ``Vanna: We are building one. ``Scotty: Hey! ``Zola: What do you mean? ``Vanna: They are erecting a 5 metre dish to my specification for my use only. ``Scotty: I did not know this. ``Zola: You mean you will be able to watch the universe? ``Vanna: Only on a tiny bit of it. ``Scotty: It is now beginning to make sense, why you need 1362 Standard specification. ``Vanna: Every part of the cables has to be inspected, and we will receive an inspection as well from Planet-Q. So it had better be perfect, Scotty. ``Scotty: Ouch. ``Leila: You have really got your teeth into this. ``Vanna: Zarfs Leila, and it is all top secret and our Oligarchy will not know on orders from the Hierarchy. Therefore, Malcolm knows nothing. ``Leila: Approved. ``Vanna: This is in addition to the media network link up with Algol and Cepheus, which they do know about. ``Scotty: So they are erecting two satellite dishes? ``Vanna: Zaa, 1st totally for Media. The 2nd for both, and is motorized for us. ``Scotty: Blimey. ``Leila: I too am impressed. ``Zola: You never mention this! ``Vanna: Anything else to discuss? ``Tetra: The Spa. ``Vanna: Can we bring it forward, as we are all quiet? [Zaa's] Scotty a message to Captain, we go at 11th time tomorrow. ``Tetra: It is ¢125 each, and please pay me as I have paid the lot, I will mail the Spa, saying us 8 are coming in. ``Vanna: Okay, until tomorrow. Zimo. ``Zola: I am on Network 10 tonight, at 22nd time.
