Boss, Gera, Jota, Qualla, Scotty, Selina, Tetra, Udal, Vanna, Zola, ~ 10

``Jota: This is a special meeting, and I have introduced the Boss of the Cable Co. to everyone. There are two Specials on the menu, so give your order to the waiter now, quin. There are three jugs of juice, so help yourself. --- This is an informal, but official committee meeting, which is being held in secret for security reasons only, as we cannot let any planned procedures to leak out to anyone. This is why the Boss has been co-opted onto this meeting, and will initially show up in the minutes, as Boss, Cable Co. ``Boss: This is a strange request, but I concur owing to the security issues, but you have not told me anything so far.
[Food is served]
``Vanna: We need you to start straight away on laying a new cable network to the new standards laid down by us, for a three way link-up from Vanna, HQ, and the Lodge to you the Relay co. ``Boss: Blimey that is a big job. ``Qualla: The problem we have is that all workers, have to be vetted and they all need an updated certificate of approval, to standard 1362. This is will include you, Boss. ``Boss: Zaa, I agree.

``Udal: We have a budget of ¢20K for the updates to the existing data network, but this has to go through independently, and Vanna has more in the Kitty. ``Boss: This is impressive. The best thing is for me to personally take control, as you cannot trust all my staff. ``Tetra: They must all have new 'scroll-cards'.

``Gera: I hear that you want the building works changed in HQ? ``Zola: Zaa, because TV networks will be on floor 1, and Qualla’s new chamber will be on floor 2 with the new direct link. ``Gera: I must admit it is a good plan, but I have not been consulted. ``Tetra: You are being consulted, now! ``Scotty: We cannot let any ideas out until we know our requirements. ``Tetra: This is a works meeting, Gera. ``Vanna: Otherwise it will become hypothetical and none of us would come to an agreement. ``Jota: I think it is a marvellous plan. ``Boss: I will get everyone vetted, including my secretary, and everyone goes on this 1362 course.

``Jota: Everyone, help yourself to sweets. The gateau is delicious. ``Tetra: We still need a working link into HQ, so we can update things as they come online? ``Vanna: You can also work on my point of the triangle first, as you officially have that order. ``Tetra: Vanna, zarfs for the lunch, but I better get back to skool. Zimo. ``Boss: Zaffre Vanna, for this. ``Vanna: Get the pairs working from my Trullo first into the Relay Co, as I am in need of access. ``Boss: Confirmed, and we now need a meeting with the Relay Co? ``Vanna: Set it up for the 9 of us, again. ``Boss: Okay I will go and see him, and I will not use mail system, other than for works meeting. ``Vanna: Excellent and Zimo. ``Gera: How do you manage it? ``Vanna: I take that as a compliment. How is Sarka? ``Gera: She is fine, and I think we have met our match. ``Vanna: Excellent, we will need to have a committee meeting to discuss what we are actually going to say to the full meeting, so you are getting advanced notice, and it is all down to you, under your control. ``Gera: You win.

``Vanna: Can I hop you home, and I will go on and see Mum? ``Zola: Certus. --- [In transit in Nelly] That was a good meeting. ``Vanna: Being wise after the event, was the only way to do it. You now have to have a meeting with network 10? And they too will have to be vetted. ``Zola: I like it, and I will get on with that later today, but you also have to come to the meeting. ``Vanna: Zaa. Dropping down. Zimo.

``Selina: I have a funny mail from Headmistress, about taking Tetra out of skool for this lunch. ``Vanna: Send another mail back, saying this was an official security working lunch, and she had to be present. Tetra should already now be back at skool. `Selina: That is good, and I will reply to it now. --- All done. ``Vanna: Perhaps I can take it easy for a while! Any other news? ``Selina: Only gossip, and zarfs for the refund.

Boss: Security.
