Alien Escapade º Episode 0562 - The Funeral: Andrew, Betty, Captain, Doctor, Leila, Vanna, Zola, ~ 07 [Ring-Ring] ``Leila: It’s ringing again --- Yes! ``Betty: Leila? It is Betty, I have some bad news for you. ``Leila: What has happened? ``Betty: It's your mum. ``Leila: tell me? ``Betty: She has had another heart attack in the night, and did not wake up this morning. [Crying] ``Leila: No, no, not mother? ``Betty: I just happened to pop in to say hallo and the Ambulance crew, are here now. ``Leila: I am on my way over, now. Vanna, mother has died, bye. ``Vanna: Oh heck, that is all we needed to upset the status-quo. {Leila’s House ~ 3} ``Leila: Morning ``Betty: The ambulance crew have confirmed it was a heart attack, and the Doctor is on his way. ``Leila: [Crying] Safe journey home, mum. I wonder where she will end up? ``Betty: What do you mean? ``Doctor: Doctor on call. ``Leila: Come in, please. ``Doctor: I have spoken with the Ambulance crew and I only saw your Mother a couple of days ago. Therefore I can write out the death certificate. --- ``Leila: Thanks [Crying]. ``Doctor: I will leave now, if you are okay. ``Leila: Fine, thanks Doctor. There is nothing more you can do. ``Betty: I have made you a cuppa. ``Leila: Thanks. We were going on holiday tonight. ``Betty: You mean you had it arranged? ``Leila: Oh yes. Mum was coming out with me to West Africa. ``Betty: I am amazed, and that is what your Doctor was talking about? ``Leila: [Crying]. Mum, why could not have waited a bit longer? ``Betty: Can I do anything? ``Leila: I will stay behind, and get everything sorted out, so you go, and I too need some time to myself. ``Betty: Call me, anytime. ``Leila: I will. Bye. {Corley Farm ~ 5} ``Vanna: Our condolences, Leila. We all wish you the very best for the future. ``Leila: Tell Dalbir to wait for me. I am staying here to sort everything out. Therefore go home without me, and pick me up when you can. ``Captain: I will be happy to come down and pick you up, after we have been to Planet-Q. ``Leila: Thanks Captain. So I will see you in a couple of weeks? ``Vanna: Fine, take as long as you need. ``Leila: No, I want to get back. Bye. ``Vanna: Bye. That’s a relief. ``Captain: It sure is, I was getting worried. ``Vanna: Blimey that is an unusual thing for you to say? ``Captain: It must be Qualla, having an effect on me. ``Vanna: About time too. ``Captain: Cheeky. ``Vanna: She is a lovely Cat, so look after her. ``Captain: Noted. {Andrew & Betty’s House ~ 2} ``Andrew: I have never hit my sister, but I certainly feel like doing it now. ``Betty: If you do, it will be the end of our marriage, and I will call the police. ``Andrew: My sister has done it again, and apparently she has had mother’s Will altered. ``Betty: You don't know that. ``Andrew: Auntie and Uncle told me, and I’ll contest it with probate. ``Betty: You’re wasting your time and our money, as it will cost a thousand just to lodge it. ``Andrew: Not if I get half the house. ``Betty: You’d better go down the pub and cool off. ``Andrew: Too right, I will. ``Betty: The Will, will be read out at 7 pm. {Leila’s House ~ 3} – [Reading of the Will] ``Leila: It is a sad day, but you all have a copy of mother’s Will. Auntie and Uncle are here as newly appointed executors; and Keith my best friend is here with moral support, and he is named in the Will. ``Therefore, mother is to be cremated. The seven of us, will all get £1,000 each, and I have been given the house. If there is any money left, mother says for me to dish it out equally among ourselves. Let me know if there is anything you want to keep from the house. ``Andrew: Is that it? ``Leila: I have nothing more to say. ``Andrew: I’m going home before I explode. ``Betty: Bye. ``Leila: Will you help me do some lunch for the 4 of us? ``Betty: Sure. ``Leila: I presume that Paul is with your Mum? ``Betty: They agreed, as it was an emergency. ``Leila: Everyone is so busy these days, they just do not have time to do anything. ``Betty: Andrew has a point there, but he is heading for a divorce. ``Leila: Perhaps he will quieten down now.
