Alien Escapade º Episode 0555 - The Palaver: Andrew, Betty, Gera-E1, H-Pilot, Feny, Joya, Leila, Mother, Sarka-E5, Tetra, Vanna, Zola, ~ 12 ``Mother: Leila make an appointment to see the solicitor, I am changing my Will. ``Leila: Excellent idea Mum. I would make Auntie and Uncle executors, as they agreed to do it for me, but in the end I chose Keith and Beverly, to take over my Will. So I will book in with the same solicitors now? ``Mother: Yes Leila, can you do it now? ``Leila: Sure. --- Mum, surprisingly they can fit us in today, as she is going on holiday, so I have booked it. ``Mother: That’s good news. ``Leila: Let me take you out for lunch. ``Mother: I’ll put me coat on. {Corley Farm ~ 11} ``H-Pilot: Pilot to Farm, over. ``Vanna: Farm to Pilot, you are cleared to land, but beware of black ice and hoar frost on landing, over. ``H-Pilot: Thanks and letting down over and out. ``Feny: That was a different style of message. ``H-Pilot: Yes, and I am curious, so let’s go and find out. --- Vanna, you do sound different. ``Vanna: Naturally and hello Feny. ``Feny: Hello Vanna, and good to see the new you. This is amazing! ``H-Pilot: I too am flabbergasted. ``Zola: We should have some coffee left over, but Vanna is struggling in her new body. ``H-Pilot: I’m not surprised. ``Feny: I too need to sit down. ``H-Pilot: It is cold out there. -|- ``Leila: Evening all and hello Feny and Pilot. How is Vanna? ``Zola: Coping. ``I too need to warm up, as it is –2ºC out there. Are you still able to fly or would you like to stay here tonight? ``H-Pilot: That would be a good idea. ``Leila: Come on in and join the crew. ``Vanna: Leila will go through the rules with you. ``Leila: Let us sit down over here so I can run through everything with you, as it will take a while. ``Feny: Hey! ``Leila: Everyone gets the same pep talk. --- ``Feny: This is a lot of palaver to have go through, this riot act of yours. I thought you were all super-human and you would protect me from man or beast. ``Leila: That is a myth. ``Joya: We all have to go through this rigmarole in our world, before we are allowed down. ``Feny: Even though you are an advanced race? ``Joya: I too had to endure this in reverse, because it was not what I was expecting to find on Earth. ``Leila: It gets to us all. ``Vanna: We can protect ourselves from your world, as we have done in the past. ``Joya: And we would do it again, but it is not easy as that. ``Leila: If you were captured, the beasts would have won. ``Feny: What are you saying, that you may not be able to rescue me? ``Leila: That is what we all have to accept, coming on this mission. ``Feny: Blimey that does put a twist on things. ``Joya: Vanna, Zola and myself and the crew are all vulnerable, and if Leila is caught with us aliens, she would be just as badly off -|- ``Vanna: I need to emphasize this, as this is reality and not a dream world. ``Leila: None of us are super human beings, as in ‘Super Women’. -|- ``Tetra: Croak Beans. ``Feny: Thanks. ``Vanna: However you do have time to change your mind. ``Feny: I am thinking about that right now. Pilot, I am getting cold feet, and don’t know what to do. ``H-Pilot: The choice is yours, and I will stay anyway. {Chamber of Gera, E1 ~ 2 + Sarka,E5} - [Back in Cassiopeia] ``Sarka: All this paperwork is sloppy which has been left by Utica (E05) and is out of date. Therefore, we might as well shred the lot. ``Gera: Okay, bin it. I will get it added into minutes of the next meeting. ``Sarka: Why is it that you just sit on your back side and do nothing? ``Gera: You are sounding like Vanna. ``Sarka: I am pleased to hear that, you never do anything unless it is your idea. ``Gera: So what do you want me to do? ``Sarka: You can start by offering to take me out to lunch. ``Gera: Okay, you win, but it will have to be the Dam. ``Sarka: Why the Dam? ``Gera: I do not usually get bothered over there. ``Sarka: If you were more social, you may find that people left you alone. ``Gera: I am peeved of having this caution on me. ``Sarka: Tough, and that is your job. So buck your ideas up or get out! ``Gera: I have been thinking about that too. ``Sarka: Or shall we go for a ‘vote of no confidence’ in our Chair? ``Gera: I think we need some fresh air.
