``Vanna: We need an adaptor to jump from 19 GB to 249 GB in Hertz, so we can get our two satellites talking to each other. That is on your Jato Satellite and our NIMIQ 2 Satellite. ``Incus: There was an option of a lower speed connection which should still be available, as they used it in the olden days as there were many planets who did not have the technology. ``Scotty: Is it still working after all these years? ``Incus: Oh yes, it should be, because it has been updated many times and it still keeps going. ``Leila: Are they going to build a spare? ``Incus: They might do, I will look in to it. ``Scotty: I think they used to call it ‘ sub-light’ transmissions. ``Incus: Zarfs for that. We will need massive memory space, as everything will have to be stored up, and retransmitted at our higher speed. Whereas we might only get one minute at a time, coming up, and we will have to do the same in reverse at your end. ``Vanna: That seems feasible. ``Leila: Will voice only, make it easier? ``Incus: Initially zaa, but I will try and go for the lot.

``Scotty: What do you need from us? ``Incus: I need a working computer from Earth, and I can use our existing power pack to run it. ``Vanna: Fine, we will bring you one back on our next trip. Scotty, get a mail off to Keith to tell the Chinese we need another computer to bring up here. The same as what we have with all the extras. ``Scotty: Certus. ``Incus: We have the meeting with the Relay Group, our local satellite company, so I will meet you there. ``Vanna: Zimo for now.

``Sales: I have never known anything like this, and you do like dropping us in it. ``Captain: You would get bored with a mundane, qef. ``Sales: Well the Mark 1, is not going back to Hobbs City, because their Dock is not big enough to cater for it, although they are now clearing some rock to gain more space, which is as you know is a very slow job. ``Captain: Could we lease her? ``Sales: Certus. ``Captain: We will all need an upgrade course. ``Sales: I can get that arranged. However, the Vulcan would be a far better option for you. ``Captain: The problem is, we can only achieve Mach 4. ``Sales: It can be reconfigured for speed and not for weight, which should give you Mach 7. ``Captain: That is more feasible. The Navigate group would have to update their navigational system for us. ``Sales: It is not the same make of equipment, so you had better have urgent words and see if you can get them to agree to put in their system. ``Captain: Decisions to be made, but I will try all options open to us. ``Sales: Keep me up to date, and let us see what we can achieve, quin. ``Captain: I think they will, but I will mail Cepheus, but what is it all going to cost?
