Alien Escapade º Episode 0449 - The Rocks: Beverly, Keith, Leila, Okapi, Peggy, Scotty, Selina, Skipper, Tetra, Vanna, ~ 10 {Sandalwood Fundus ~ 4} ``Selina: Did you enjoy it? ``Okapi: Zaa, and it reminded me of our tribal music. ``Beverly: I am pleased, because it is very difficult these days to please anyone. ``Keith: All they want is noise, and nothing else counts. ``Selina: How awful. ``Keith: Where is everyone else? ``Selina: Leila has gone to Skipper’s, and Vanna has gone home to bed, as she has an important meeting in the morning. ``Tetra: I am here! {The Lodge + Vanna ~ 3} ``Peggy: Zenden Vanna. ``Vanna: Zenden for inviting me over, and you do have a lovely place here. ``Peggy: Let me show you our garden which is long and thin, and we have a sheer drop down to the left side down the glen. We are reclaiming more land to make the garden longer, but we are hitting rock. ```Scotty: Zibo Vanna. ``Vanna: Zibo Scotty. Get the Saucer over here with its laser guns, that will shift it. ``Scotty: What a good idea. ``Vanna: You will need a fire Hopper-chopper on standby as I like this place of yours. ``Scotty: It keeps Peggy busy at times. ``Peggy: I have had to do more as Scotty has been busy with all these new computers. I will make us a drink. ``Scotty: I am still sorting out the linkup to Hobbs City. ``Vanna: Well, I have another assignment for you! ``Peggy: You are joking. ``Scotty: Go on. ``Vanna: I need a satellite uplink dish to our Trulli. ``Scotty: I will have to look into that one. ``Peggy: What is behind all this? ``Vanna: The problem is will our two satellite systems talk to each other? We know it is possible to get through on Morse code, but can we get through on voice? ``Scotty: What a challenge. ``Vanna: I will need a satellite fone and a direct access to the communications satellite, the same one which is used by Planet Q. ``Scotty: Where is that drink, Peggy? ``Peggy: Oh sorry, I am too amazed. ``Scotty: It is not going to be cheap, and I will shop around. You may need a broadcasting license from Planet Q. ``Vanna: Fine, we can get one easily. ``Scotty: We should be able to rent some space from an existing provider, as we will only need it occasionally. ``Vanna: There is plenty of money in the bank. ``Peggy: Drinks. ``Scotty: Zarfs. Okay I accept the mission. We will need some professional advice and will have to go on a training course. ``Vanna: Fine, make it happen. Everything is already working at my end, and I can send out an analogue signal from our satellite, which is slow at around 12.9 GB, in frequency, but you will need to convert it down at your end to intercept it and decode it. Perhaps we can get Incus back to do it? ``Scotty: You have been thorough. ``Vanna: If I do something Scotty, I do it properly. ``Peggy: Anyway lunch is ready you two. {Skipper’s Place + Leila ~2} ``Skipper: You do not talk about your mum much! ``Leila: [Snappy] I get too emotional. I can’t just get on a plane and pop home to see her or at least talk to her on the fone. ``Skipper: How old is she? ``Leila: Mum is 84, but that is not old these days. ``Skipper: Your brother does look after your mum. ``Leila: They both work and they have a young boy or Bear to you, Paul who is full of beans. The problem is mother does not get out enough and she relies on me, and I can’t do what she wants me to do. [Crying] - [Cuddles] ``Skipper: Take it easy love, come on and dry those eyes. It will sort itself out when it is ready. ``Leila: There is Vanna who wants to come up here permanently as her family are all here, and there is me who have family ties back on Earth, but I now I have friends here. [Crying] - [Cuddles]. I don’t know what to do, and I can’t cope, neither can I tell anyone. ``Skipper: Communications are being improved and Vanna is working on an Intergalactic satellite link which will mean you can talk to your mum from here. ``Leila: I didn’t realize she was going that far. ``Skipper: Perhaps Vanna did not want to get your hopes up. ``Leila: In that case I better take more of an interest, but I am not techy minded like her. ``Skipper: I will help you. ``Leila: Oh thank you. ``Skipper: How can I cheer you up? ``Leila: Can we go and find that Shack again, called the Hatch? ``Skipper: Certus. ``Skipper: I will propel, as you need to unwind. ``Leila: I’m sorry to be a burden.
