Alien Escapade º Episode 0403 - The Crews: Captain, E1-Gera, E3-Jota, E6 Jove, Jarry, Kirin, Leila, Scotty, Vanna, Zola, ~ 10 {Elders Full Meeting - Planning ~ 3} ``Elder 3: Before we start, just a quick update that we do have the Cepheusians here with us at Space Dock. We have had an emergency request for changes to be made to Space Dock. You should all have a copy of the revised plans: 1} Move the East Ring way further east by 7 metres, which means half the carriage way. 2} Extend the west side of the terminal building by 7 metres. 3} Shortening the Canal extension appropriately. 4} Moving the Monorail to compensate. 5} The new foot bridge could stay where it is. 6} Allowing for access for a Cable-buggy if approved at a later stage. 7} Re-sighting of Space Pads and create new SP5. ``Elder 1: Any questions? ``Elder 5: How much is the budget for this expansion? ``Elder 4: It is yet to be defined, but ¢1 million should cover it. Some will come out of the Space Dock budget as with the up grading on their Computers. ---``Elder 3: So can we go for a vote? All in favour? --- Unanimous, Chair. Elder 1: I am impressed with your enthusiasm to get this moving and I do know for a fact, that there has been a lot of thought and effort putting this lot together in such a short time, with everyone involved. Jove it is now over to you to make the relevant changes, with the construction contractors. ``Jove: Confirmed. {Vanna’s Trullo + Team ~ 4} ``Vanna: I am afraid that everything is on hold again, as with our trip to Cepheus. ``Leila: It was only four and a half weeks ago, time is an illusion. ``Vanna: Although we need a holiday and the Bears trip to Earth is delay. ``Scotty: One unit you have all the time in a world, and the next, qaa time. ``Zola: That’s life for you. ``Scotty: You tell that to the old folk at 900 years of age when they complain it gets depressing at times. ``Leila: They have little else to do than to complain. ``Vanna: Oh, that is wicked, but a nice one. ``Zola: I think she is definitely getting the bug! ``Leila: Careful, and it all depends on how my mum is, when I can get back to Earth. ``Zola: I do feel some encouragement in her statement. ``Leila: Cheeky. ``Scotty: That’s my line. ``Vanna: A nice back-handed compliment, I thought! ``Leila: I think I better prepare the drinks so you can all cool down, also Scotty get another message off to Keith. ``Scotty: Confirmed. ``Zola: When do we go to Earth? ``Vanna: The reason for our meeting as I think we ought to go first, especially as to Leila’s mum being poorly. ``Leila: Drinks, just help yourself they are all identical. And I agree, we should go first. ``Scotty: Okay I will advise our Captain and Joya. ``Leila: It makes a change that we did not have to ask! ``Scotty: Cheeky. ``Zola: I think Keith should keep in touch with the Embassy as in a Public Relations exercise? ``Vanna: Approved. ``Leila: Approved, so get working Scotty! {Space Dock Tower + Crews ~ 2} ``Jarry: S182 to tower, over. ``Vanna: S182 pass your message, over. ``Jarry: S182 permission to lift off, over. ``Vanna: Approved S182 beware of easterly wind, gusting 15 knots, over. ``Jarry: Confirmed, over. {Crash sight - Cirrus MK1 + Crews ~ 2} ``Kirin: Captain, overhead crash site. ``Jarry: Captain, I can see no obvious change in position. ``Captain: Take her down, full up thrusters and watch that dust storm. ``Kirin: Stopping for settlement of dust cloud. --- Crash procedure everyone. --- [Clonk] Down, lower jacks slowly, [Clonk] down and all controls locked in warming mode. ``Jarry: Lower drawbridge.
