{Elders Committee Hearing - Enquiry + Captain + Sheriff ~ 6}
``Elder 3: The Captain has been summoned here today to answer for his actions on why he took off in treacherous conditions allowing for two Beings to be blown over, and one Hopper-buggy crashed into Space Dock. The Bear received concussion and was in a Health ward for two qefs. ``Elder 1: This is a very serious matter and I too am looking for answers. Any questions? [-Qaa-] ``Elder 3: I call the Captain to the stand.
``Elder 1: Why did you take off when you had been grounded twice?
``Captain: I was thinking of the passengers in the Cirrus Saucer, because no one else could get through as they were 181 Km North West of Hobbs City Dock in deep forestation.
``Elder 2: Considering that you could not land, why did you not wait for emergency services?
``Captain: I have already implied, they would have taken a qef to cut their way through, and people were badly injured, and one is still in the recovery unit.
``Elder 4: How can you justify trying to save people, when other people have been hurt?
``Captain: I am sorry, but I did not know, the problem was that the Saucer was drifting towards the buildings on full reverse power and we were losing it.
``Elder 4: In that case why did you not come back and land as requested?
``Captain: It was too late, we could not turn back as we would have landed on the terminal building.
``Elder 2: Why did you not let yourself drift over the south east side and side slip south?
``Captain: The hurricane was whirling in a clockwise direction and it would have blown us back over the terminal building.
``Elder 1: What were you trying to achieve?
``Captain: The storm was the worst on record, and they usually die out at 6 Km, but we were up at 8 Km’s, and the only way out was through the eye.
``Elder 4: Why did you not consider Beings in Space Dock?
``Captain: I am indeed sorry for what has happened to them, and I hope they will all make full a recovery, but I would not have expected them to be out in this weather. Neither were we told at any stage by the emergency services that there had been an incident. ``Elder 1: How long would the hurricane have taken to go through? ``Captain: It lasted a qef, but the worst took 6th times to go through as it was not moving in a straight line.
``Elder 4: With one Saucer down, why do you put your own Saucer at risk?
``Captain: I did not anticipate the strength of the hurricane, which is a failing on my part, but we were getting false readings as well. Therefore, I would have changed my mind. However, I was also thinking back to when we lost hyperdrive and being stuck in space.
``Elder 1: Any questions anyone? -- Qaa --! In that case this meeting is suspended, until we have had time to consider the findings. Meeting closed.

{Ming’s Place + Leila ~ 2}
``Ming: I am leaving Kirin alone until he calls me, which is the agreement we have anyway, although the Captain is on trail, the crew are also worried about the consequences. ``Leila: They were under orders! ``Ming: Zaa, but should they have refused to go? ``Leila: We need the whole epi0. ``Ming: It will be interesting to read the report. ``Leila: I am pleased I was not involved. Anyway where are we going for lunch. ``Ming: You choose! ``Leila: Let’s go to Twin Peaks, as we should be nicely out of the limelight. ``Ming: You can propel. ``Leila: The lanes are dicey on those bends and the last time my door mirror hit some pregnant rock, so please keep an eye out. We have had an exceptional amount of rain recently, so we may find a rock fall. ``Ming: That is why your are propelling, but certus.

Ming: Rocks.
