Alien Escapade º Episode 0288 - The Rain, Reigns: Gera E1, Leila, Ming, Qualla, Yanan-Captain, Yafo, Vanna, Zola, ~ 8 {Ming’s Place + Leila ~ 2} ``Ming: We have to do an observation check every 1st time, because we are surrounded by hills and we do have land slips. We then report in everything, online. Anything suspicious, a special team will adventure out to investigate in case we need to be in evacuated, and they have to dig us out. ``Leila: It reminds me of our lifeboat crews who go and rescue boaters in distress. ``Ming: We have them as well, but they are on the other side of West Hobbs. ``Leila: How far is that? ``Ming: Another 2,500 Km, it is just a land mass in between. ``Leila: Does the monorail go through? ``Ming: Oh Qaa, but they are considering extending it. ``Leila: I can hear it thundering down on our roof. ``Ming: I am used to it, but it can get pretty frightening at times. ``Leila: So where does it end? ``Ming: About 500 Km west of West Hobbs. A place called Riccia, but the water supply is drying up. ``Leila: Vanna mentioned it, because Tetra is taking an interest in hydro and something about building a Canal through! ``Ming: Zaa. If the canal goes ahead then they will extend the monorail. ``Leila: Can you show me please, on the computer? ``Ming: Certus. {Yanan’s Place + Qualla ~ 2} ``Yanan: It is nice to have a couple of days off even if we have a monsoon. ``Qualla: You are clear here of the mud slides? ``Yanan: Zaa. That is why I chose this place as I am out of its path. ``Qualla: It is quite deafening! ``Yanan: It will get worse than this, so have another drink. ``Qualla: Zarfs, I usually go down the cave! [Woof - Bang - Woof] ``Yanan: That’s the wind. However, everyone has to report in every one time, so I need to do that now. ``Qualla: I was only I km from you, but we do not have to do it. {Leila’s Trullo ~ 3} ``Leila: You are going to have to learn to eat ‘humble pie’! ``Yafo: Pardon! ``Vanna: It is a saying that one wrong step with the Developers, and you are SACKED. ``Yafo: Oh. ``Leila: You cannot talk down to them nor can you wind them up! ``Yafo: Anything else? ``Leila: You are unreliable and that is dangerous. ``Yafo: Ouch. ``Zola: You also let them have the last word, which you do not like doing! ``Yafo: Oh. ``Leila: You just take notes and we will discuss it later. ``Zola: There are two Cats and four Bears coming, and none of them are fools. ``Leila: Therefore, they would walk out, if they even think that. ``Zola: Remember you are still on probation! ``Yafo: So what do we do? ``Leila: Very little! ``Yafo: Hey! ``Leila: We will trade, because they have other projects in the grapevine, so we will end up bartering with them. ``Vanna: They will still have to go through official channels and be vetted, because there are no backhanders, but if we have to make a choice it will be in their favour, for this time only. ``Leila: We have to find out what they want out of this and not what we expect. ``Yafo: This is weird. ``Vanna: I will be relaying all this to Gera. ``Yafo: It is an awkward way of doing things! ``Zola: maybe so, but there is ¢5 million at sake here. ``Vanna: Likewise you think you can cope with anything, so how are you going to get home in this storm? Yafo: Point taken, and I think I had better go home. {Vanna’s Place ~ 3} ``Gera: May I come in? ``Vanna: Quiff!
