``Vanna: We have to go back in the morning to collect our new visas and passports and have another meeting. So we will be away all day. ``Zola: Terrible! ``Vanna: Ted is coming over to take you two for a drive, because I am shattered, and need to relax. ``Leila: As long as it all goes to plan, we will know tomorrow what their intentions really are. You may hear something on the news, but Ted will help you.

{Chinese Embassy ~ 6} - [Next Day]
``Security: Swipe your cards in here please! --- That is fine, you are both through security. Go to the other kiosk on your left for further instructions. ``Leila: Thanks. ``Kiosk: Yes! ``Vanna: Appointment with the Ambassador. ``Kiosk: Cards in slot please. --- Thank you. --- Take a seat, and someone will be with you shortly. --- ``Feny: Ladies, come with me please. --- ``Liang: Good morning ladies, although you could say it is afternoon now. This is Ding who is our space advisor, and this is Senyue who is in charge of publicity. You have met my Secretary Feny. So the taller one is Wendy and the shorter one is Leila. ``Vanna: Perfecto. ``Liang: We have analysed your nugget of gold sample and the results, mean we have to admit we did not find a match. So I will ask my colleagues, to ask you some questions.

``Ding: How do you get through our ionised layers? ``Vanna: We don’t, we go straight down through the southern hemisphere. ``Ding: So where do you go from there? ``Vanna: We head for Corvus and then change direction from there. ``Ding: How long does it take you to get to your planet? ``Leila: Twenty five hours. ``Ding: That is very quick! `` Vanna: Technologies too advanced for Earth's use. ``Ding: Absolutely.

``Senyue: I am willing to put a hold on the media anyway as we are concerned, and we to do not want to cause a panic, but what else can you give us as evidence that you are actually genuine, although it is not in doubt. ``Vanna: Come up with some suggestions and I will put it to our Elders for approval. ``Senyue: Elders? ``Vanna: Yes. There are nine Elders who form the Oligarchy who run our world. ``Senyue: One thing which comes to mind is, could you arrange for your Saucer to hover over a part of China? ``Vanna: Yes, we can do that, but we do not want to attract attention. Maybe our Captain can come up with something for us. ``Liang: Here are your passports and your Visas. You are cleared to go. You have given us a lot to think about. And I thank you for coming in. Feny will see you out. Good day.

{Safe House ~ 4}
``Zola: Hallo dear! How did it go? ``Vanna: Make us a cuppa and we will explain. ``Kirin: Are you okay? ``Leila: Just tensed up. It has been an invigorating day. [Teas] ``Vanna: Basically they believed us although naturally they had doubts, but they did imply that they wanted to play down the incident and not let it get out of hand. ``Leila: We have had our passports returned with Visas and we still have our security passes, so we appear to have them on the hop. ``Zola: I have just had an idea! ``Leila: Go on! ``Zola: Let’s get the Captain to drop us off in China, and we can walk into their Military establishment. That would get their attention. ``Kirin: It sounds like a movie. ``Leila: It was clever of Vanna to tell them that we are in the southern hemisphere when we are in the northern! ``Vanna: They would not have know the difference anyway as Corvus can be seen in both hemispheres. ``Zola: So what do we do next? ``Leila: Give them a day for a news bulletin and we can go home, but Zola will you come back again with us please? I need you. ``Zola: Zaa. ``Kirin: Can I come too? ``Leila: I’ll think about it. ``Vanna: How are the SOS transmissions going? ``Kirin: They have all gone off. ``Vanna: Request ‘Pick up one sun’ and we will draft a shortened text of what else to send. ``Leila: We still have a day left, so we can all meet Mark and Sandy. And I will go and see my Mum later. Anything else? ``Vanna: Loads! As long as Ted is okay? We will see you later, Kirin. Cont.
