``Wendy: Zonule Jarry. ``Jarry: Zonule. Let me take your luggage. ``Wendy: Zonule Captain. Zonule. ``Wendy: We would like to be picked up in 4 suns, quin. ``Captain: Agreed, and we will send you a Morse transmission. ``Leila: Zarfs Jarry. ``Wendy: I prefer going at night, because we get a normal sleep time in our rest period. ``Leila: Usual card game? ``Wendy: Sure. At least I have no cooking to do! [Back on Earth ~ 3] -

[Next Morning]
``Wendy: The landings do not get any easier. Zimo, Jarry. ``Leila: It has been raining, mind that puddle. [Flashing blue lights] ``Police: Where are you going? ``Leila: Home, we have been hitch-hiking all the way from my Uncle’s in Scotland, but are having to walk the last bit home, as no other cars will stop for us. ``Police: And where is that? ``Leila: 146 Mill Lane, by the Lock. ``Police: Well, would you like a lift? ``Leila: Oh, yes please. [Ten minutes later] Thank you very much, Officer. ``Wendy: Well done girl!

{Leila’s House ~ 3}
``Leila: [Knock-knock on the back door] --- ``Mother: Coming --- Hello Girls, you’ve made it back again? ``Leila: Hi Mum, [Hugs] Can we have that snack, same as last time, please? ``Mother: Of course you can, I’m just overwhelmed that you’re home again, come in out of the wet, and put the fire on. It must be a month, since you have left. ``Wendy: You are looking well mother! ``Mother: It’s the arthritis, it makes me feel old. Just can’t do what I used to do. Anyway, go and warm up and sit down. I will be in shortly. ``Wendy: It is Thursday today, and we left on the Sunday, so that is three and a half weeks. ``Leila: Where does the time go? ``Mother: Here you are girls. --- ``Wendy & Leila: Thanks Mum. --- Delicious as always. ``Mother: So where have you been this time? ``Leila: Similar place to the last time, within 50 Km’s of the same villages. ``Mother: Where did you get that suntan? ``Leila: It is very hot out there, and it was over +40ş C, a world record, so it takes a lot of getting used to. ``Wendy: Once you master it, it is okay, and as we were out in the wilds, we could strip off and enjoy it.

``Leila: Anything been happening Mum? ``Mother: No very little, only that they are trying to start WW III. ``Leila: Any local news? ``Mother: Not to speak of. ``Leila: Can I take the local paper? ``Mother: Sure dear, there’s little in it. ``Wendy: It is nice to catch up on things. ``Leila: Is the bathroom free, so we can freshen up? ``Mother: Of course you can. I’ll make you some more coffee, when you come down. ``Leila: Thanks, Mum. --- ``Wendy: Are you going to have a holiday? ``Mother: I may do. ``Leila: I need to take Wendy home, and to catch up on things since we have been away. ``Mother: I do miss you Leila, and I do need your help at times. ``Leila: Okay mum, but I am not ignoring you. I will come and see you tomorrow, when I have got over the jet lag. ``Mother: I know you’re not, but I miss our woman’s talk. Betty has been good in helping me a bit, but it is not the same. In fact, I will give Andrew a ring shortly.

[Next day]
``Wendy: I have spoken with Ted, and he will help us out . ``Leila: What about security? ``Wendy: As long as it is a friendly alien, but short term only as he is frighten. ``Leila: Brilliant. ``Wendy: Hang on! He was a renegade when he was in the Army, and he was in reconnaissance, so he does know Morse, but he is rusty. It did cheer him up a bit, as it brought some old memories back. So yes, I have given him the radio. ``Leila: Blast, we cannot test it out, until 2 days before we go Home. ``Wendy: There is a self-destruct mechanism built inside, so if anyone tries to tamper with it ‘fireworks’. ``Leila: That is dangerous! ``Wendy: Not as much, in getting into the wrong hands. ``Leila: True.
