Alien Escapade ººº Episode 0032 - The Holidays: Leila, Wendy, ~ 02 {Wendy’s Trullo 2} ``Wendy: It should be the hottest day of our year, as we move into the month of Algol, although we do have two summers here. ``Leila: It feels like it! Don’t tell me, let me guess, is it 57ºC? ``Wendy: Nope, 53ºC. The smaller planet is shielding one of the suns from us, so we are getting off lightly. ``Leila: Hurrah! ``Wendy: We still have to go out and do fire-walk. ``Leila: I know, at least these Trulli are built for the heat. ``Wendy: Wait until the winter comes? ``Leila: Hey? ``Wendy: Don’t Panic! It is like Sicilia, it never usually goes below 7ºC. Anyway we are used to –5ºC. ``Leila: I prefer the heat! ``Wendy: Uh! I am hearing things! ``Leila: It must be the heat getting to me. ``Wendy: Ha, ha. Wait until the New Year comes, in the month of Cassio. ``Leila: I can see why Qualla disappears. ``Wendy: He took the Saucer to Cepheus, as it is cooler there. ``Leila: We will have to do that next year? ``Wendy: Absolutely! What a lovely idea. We can get the details on her return. ``Leila: That should wake her up. ``Wendy: It will take a long day to get there, but thinking about it; if you were going say from the UK to New Zealand that will also take a long day to get there! ``Leila: It would be lovely, if we had ‘space miles against air miles? ``Wendy: That is why they have spacials! ``Leila: Typical! ``Wendy: We should run a Space Mail service. ``Leila: Moreover, we need a constellation Space Service. ``Wendy: And a ‘Penny Black’ service so they pay the bill, at the other end. ``Leila: That fast stream you found, can we go back there? Because we did not have much time to stop last time, and there should be a small waterfall further down. ``Wendy: Sure, but it will have to wait until it starts cooling down, as it is too hot to travel. ``Leila: Everyone else is hiding, so we might as well. ``Wendy: Absolutely. ``Leila: Is Scotty around? `` Wendy: !Dad Nope. ``Leila: See what I mean? ``Wendy: Let’s get fire watch out the way, and I’ll knock us up a light lunch. ``Leila: Yea, alright. Let’s go! [1-time later] ``Wendy: I am afraid it is leftovers from yesterday. I think this tastes like a curry of sorts, but it is not hot. ``Leila: At least we will both go together! ``Wendy: Now there’s a lovely thought! We will both be home in specs. ``Leila: We can visit home as live ghosts, to say our good byes to ourselves. ``Wendy: Just think of us turning up at your mothers for a funeral in fancy dress costumes. ``Leila: We will have to make a couple of coffins & take our old bodies back with us, otherwise we cannot get the paperwork signed off. ``Wendy: That is what I call a real holiday of a ‘lifetime adventure’. ``Leila: Dead or alive! ``Wendy: I think your mum would have a heart attack and die, leaving Andrew to manage a triple funeral. ``Leila: I could then come back home and trace my mum’s Home planet. ``Wendy: We could stay and watch our own funeral service! ``Leila: Absolutely. Who looks after our catacombs, whilst Qualla is away? `` Wendy: That would be Elder 08’s Zizz task, as he is the Duty Elder. ``Leila: I presume the alarm bell rings, when a Soul arrives back home, as it did when we were there. ``Wendy: Zaa, as it thought I was back! ``Leila: Hurry up Qualla, because I want to choose my body, before it is too late. ``Wendy: Did you not like my body? ``Leila: I think it was too much of a shock of a change, so can I please have another look? ``Wendy: Sure, and I will consider some minor changes if possible. ``Leila: How come that no one else has come forward, who knew you, before you left this planet? ``Wendy: Good question!
