Leila, Mother, Wendy, ~ 03

{Leila’s House + Mother, Cont ~ 4}
``Leila: Mum, I will pop back and see you tomorrow, as I have a lot of catching up to do and I have to take Wendy home. ``Mother: Of course dear. You will be around for sometime now, won’t you dear? ``Leila: for a short while, as we are planning another holiday. ``Mother: So soon? How long for this time? ``Leila: Bye.

{Wendy’s Bungalow ~ 2}
``Wendy: So what is it like being home? ``Leila: It’s nice, and I can sleep in my own bed, and have all of my normal comforts. And you? ``Wendy: Yea, me too, but I still want to go to places, which I cannot do down here. ``Leila: What was it like meeting your Dad? ``Wendy: Very nice, but strange as he was not his old self. He is different now, so perhaps this is now how he was, before spending time on Earth.

``Leila: There is a bit in here about a bright light in the sky, but they have put it down to a military jet, as they are known to come over here at night. ``Wendy: This one says ‘they thought it was a UFO’, but it had gone before taking a picture, so they could not authenticate the sighting. ``Leila: But there is nothing about the burnt patch! ``Wendy: It’s marvellous now that the saucer can track us, as they can come down in the dark at short notice, put on a soft landing light and as soon as we are onboard, the light is off, and up we go. ``Leila: I too like it! ``Wendy: So, you are coming back then? ``Leila: Absolutely. I think 3 weeks up there and 1 week down here, will be rather nice, give or take a day or so. ``Wendy: Wonderful. That is if we are still okay in a week’s time! ``Leila: We will shortly find out, when the space-lag catches us up. ``Wendy: I will send a Morse transmission tonight, and Dad can translate it back for the Captain, that we go back this Wednesday coming? ``Leila: Good idea. So, what are we going to take back, this time? ``Wendy: A long list of things. ``Leila: Let’s limit it to two large baggage trolley loads, which we can wheel up the ramp, say with a maximum weight of 28 Kg’s each as in airport standards? ``Wendy: Absolutely.

``Wendy: My old lover Angela, did have a cabin up in the Lake District. I wonder if she still has it, but it is a long way to go! ``Leila: I think we are better off renting a house not far from here! ``Wendy: Actually there is one on the lower road. I will arrange for us to go and view it. Reason? Family are coming to stay, whilst on holiday! ``Leila: Unfortunately they will not accept Qintars, and only Euros. ``Wendy: We could bring some gold and silver back with us, and trade it in for cash. ``Leila: Excellent idea and we can advance book the house before we leave, say for the last week in the month? ``Wendy: Okay, let’s do that then, and we can bring Kaon back with us. ``Leila: Stay another week, and then return. ``Wendy: Shall we meet up again tomorrow night for another update! ``Leila: Sure, and I can go and see what has changed in this world.

{Wendy’s Bungalow ~ 2}
``Wendy: How are you coping? ``Leila: It was very strange, the background noise sounded so deafening, and kept waking me up. ``Wendy: I am fortunate, I have quiet neighbours, but I too jumped, when I heard some noises. ``Leila: My balance is all to pot. ``Wendy: My legs are wobbly, but I have not felt sick or anything. ``Leila: My taste buds are different, and I don’t fancy chocolate any more. ``Wendy: Moving on, we can have the house on short term let, as long as we put Ł1,000 down as security, which we will get back when we leave. ``Leila: Marvellous. Can you cope with the money? ``Wendy: Sure.

``Leila: ``I presume you have seen Mark and Sandy? ``Wendy: Yes, they did not know what to say. Her father had recently died, so it took the pressure off explaining things, but Sandy was very curious. Where did we go for a whole month, without a word? Where did we get the money from, it must have cost thousands? And, what about your sun tan? ``Leila: Wait until you tell them, we are off again!
