``Leila: Look Wendy, we are all sitting on the platform with the nine Elders, including Scotty and Peggy who is on the other side. ``Wendy: Those suns are really warm today, and it is 38şc outside and the air conditioning is on. ``Leila: Look at all the Beings, being packed into this 300 seat Hall of Commerce. ``Scotty: There is not a single seat spare and look at those video cameras hovering around in the air. ``Wendy: Plus, supporting staff and the Press. ``Scotty: There is a lot of chit-chatting from the assembly.

``Elder 1-Chair: [Stands up, and there is total silence]. Zibo all. This is a rarity situation to have someone who has adopted our culture and constellation, and at such short notice and without our initial permission. As you are all aware that would not normally be tolerated and would be considered a taboo. However, owing to the strange set of circumstances which was ordered by the Hierarchy, it was not a questionable situation. Moreover, Leila took a personal choice of the three worlds she has come into contact with, although she could have considered the other 6 worlds, but she decided to choose us! Therefore, this is a special meeting today and hopefully for her acceptance ceremony, into our clan.

Upon acceptance, Leila will be treated in the same way as we all are, and she would not want it to be any other way. However, she does have a head start [laughter from assembly]! If you get the chance to help her, then please do so, but she is not to be spoilt. If she does do anything incorrectly, then politely correct her or help her to understand the dilemma or find someone to put her straight. Likewise, we are all here, with our learning curves of understanding, but hers will be different from ours. Therefore, it becomes an equilibrium as no one loses. ``Elder 3: I now open up the floor to the assembly, for any questions.

``Local Press: What will her role be here? ``Elder 3: Ambassadress. ``National Press: How come, there is nothing in her hiepi0 about us? ``Elder 2-Deputy Chair: Leila was seconded in by the Hierarchy, and we are happy to accept her into our society. ``Global Press: Will we get a CV from her, for our records? ``Elder 3: I will arrange for this to happen, as it will have to be translated. Therefore, do I have approval from the floor? Assembly, Zaŕs? --- 300. Assembly, Qaŕs ? --- 000. Assembly, Quacks? --- 000. Unanimously approved and adopted. Therefore I present Leila with this scroll, and this beautiful bunch of Byzantium flowers. [A clacking clap of hands from the assembly]. ``Elder 4: It is customary on these special occasions for a good will gesture, to start her new Qintar bank balance off in good stead. Therefore, would you all please like to pledge a donation? Anyone else watching us, can also make a donation. --- Thank you, that makes an initial total of ˘989 Qintars. I have now doubled that, which means she now has 1,978 qintars. --- ``Elder 3: It is now time for Leila’s speech.

``Leila: Zenden. All I can say is ‘Zaffre’. I have felt like a VIP and not like a normal Being, so I hope this will now change as it becomes boring. It will take me probably one of your years to adapt to your ways and customs, so please do not expect miracles, as only God does those, and I feel she has already performed this. I am still on ‘cloud 9’ (colloquial) so I do expect to come down with a bump. I now have a new life to lead, and you have given me an encouraging start. So I do thank you all, and for the money, which I will use wisely. My new role will mean that I will be ‘grass hopping’ (Colloquial) between our two worlds! See, you also have some learning to do as well [crackle, crackle]! I may not meet you all, although, thinking about it, I could hold a monthly meeting, where you can come and air your views.
